We just spent a wonderful day touring the key D Day sites and Band of Brothers highlights. Our tour guide, Louis Boubat, was very knowledgeable and personable. We started with the American Cemetary, on to Omaha Beach and Pont de Hoc, then an afternoon focusing on the paratroopers and Band of Brothers story, finishing at the German cemetery. We learned so much. Highly recommend!
We had an excellent tour, led by our guide Guillame. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous, and his English was perfect, which helped us better understand all the nuance of the history in the Omaha beach and surrounding areas.
Absolutely wonderful in every way. It could not have been better. Our guide, Remy, was amazing: courteous, accommodating, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his tour, and delivered history in a marvelous voice with the perfect French accent (he should do radio commercials). There were four of us guests in the spotless, air-conditioned Overlord van, and the entire day was perfect and more than worth the price. Five stars and two thumbs up all the way and then some. Thank you, Remy!
We took a tour on June 19. Band of brothers / Omaha beach tour. Excellent tour, very detailed information and moving stories.our guide Guillome was absolutely amazing! During the entire drive he shared additional information and history about Normandy. It was so fascinating. We loved this tour! Bus was comfortable and water was supplied. Easy meeting spot and parking instructions. Thank you Guillome!!
It’s was amazing and more than worth the money!
We had a private full day Overlord tour with another couple. Our tour guide was Loic. He did a fabulous job! He had a well mapped out plan for sites to visit. We never felt rushed but covered an amazing amount of ground. He was entertaining and informative and really brought the events to life for us. Overall it was a terrific experience.
We were with Theo for two days and it was phenomenal. He knew so much and relayed his information very clearly. If we hadn’t of taken the tour then we would have missed so much information about Normandy. He was also very willing to answer questions we had about France and Normandy. All in all, Theo is what made the tour so much fun!
We had a great tour today with our guide William. He was extremely knowledgable and personal. He is truly a WW 2 historian. He was full of great details about the Normandy campaign. The tour really gave insight into what Easy company really went through. I would tour with William again for sure. Jeff Ewert
We can’t say enough good things about our tour, and especially our guide Remy. He was knowledgeable about the content, provided visual aides, and was an exceptional teacher. We had a wonderful day!
Ours was a one day tour of D-Day sites in Normandy. Our tour guide, Remy, had total recall of the dates, names and events surrounding the D-Day landings. His knowledge of the events was astounding. Overlord tours has also contracted with local property owners so we also toured non-public sites on our tour. Remy even extended a kindness to one of his customers who was late to the meeting place. It was a wonderful day spent on the shores and a highlight of our 17-day European trip.
