Si vous recherchez une excursion d'une journée passionnante à Arequipa qui vous emmène hors des sentiers battus à travers de magnifiques paysages andins, explorez le canyon de Colca, l'un des plus profonds du monde et appréciez le vol majestueux du condor andin, profitez également de magnifiques paysages et diversité de la flore et de la faune comme le lama, l'alpaga, la vigogne et autres dans leur habitat naturel. Rafraîchissez-vous dans ses piscines thermales, dégustez la gastronomie de la Vallée du Colca à base de produits de haute qualité andine.

Itinéraire
Nous commençons l'excursion à 3h00 du matin, nous allons à Patapampa, où nous ferons un arrêt à l'impressionnant Mirador de los Volcanes, la partie la plus élevée de notre circuit à 4900 mètres d'altitude, à partir de ce point, vous aurez de superbes vues des chaînes de montagnes qui entourent Arequipa et la vallée de Colca.
Nous nous dirigeons vers Chivay, situé à 3630 mètres d'altitude ; Ici, nous prendrons le petit-déjeuner, puis nous embarquerons pour une visite où nous apprécierons de magnifiques paysages, des terrasses pré-incas, ainsi que la flore et la faune indigènes.
Visitez la ville de Yanque, une ville traditionnelle, où nous observerons la danse typique de la vallée de Colca, la "Wititi" connue sous le nom de danse de l'amour, déclarée patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'humanité. De plus, vous pouvez visiter le temple de La Santísima Concepción de Yanque, reconstruit au XVIIe siècle.
Sur le chemin du retour, nous nous arrêterons au belvédère de Huayra Punko, à Pinchollo, puis au belvédère d'Antahuilque, afin d'observer quelques maquettes et tombes suspendues pré-incas. De même, nous observerons les terrasses pré-incas.
Nous arriverons à la Cruz del Cóndor pour observer la majesté du Canyon de Colca depuis un point stratégique, ainsi que le vol du condor andin (Vultur gryphus), le plus grand oiseau non marin de la planète, nommé patrimoine culturel et naturel d'Amérique du Sud.
Le prochain arrêt sera à Maca, une petite ville pittoresque de la région, où nous dégusterons la boisson traditionnelle Colca Sour.
Nous visiterons les sources chaudes, où vous pourrez vous baigner et vous détendre grâce à ses propriétés thermo-médicinales. L'entrée est S/15.00
Nous nous arrêterons dans un restaurant pour profiter d'un déjeuner buffet gratuit. Toutes les options de restauration sont des plats traditionnels à base de produits andins
Nous ferons un autre arrêt au Toccra Bofedales, où nous verrons des camélidés et des oiseaux tels que des canards andins et des flamants roses, ainsi que des oiseaux migrateurs.
Le dernier arrêt sera à Patahuasi, pour profiter d'une vue panoramique devant Misti et Chachani avec des forêts de pierre et de curieuses formations rocheuses.

Lieux et horaires de prise en charge
Nous fournissons des services de ramassage à nos touristes. Nous venons vous chercher dans les hôtels et auberges du centre-ville d'Arequipa. Notre point de rendez-vous est sur la Plaza de Armas d'Arequipa. Si votre hôtel n'est pas situé au centre, nous pouvons vous recommander des taxis fiables. En fonction de l'emplacement de votre hébergement, une heure de prise en charge vous sera communiquée un jour avant la visite. Au retour de la visite, le point de débarquement se trouve à l'arrêt touristique à 3 pâtés de maisons de la place principale d'Arequipa.

The tour actually skipped lots of places listed above. Not sure if they changed the itinerary recently. The places for hanging tombs and birds/flamingos were not part of the trip. The tour felt rush, and the tour guide didn’t explain fully in English even he speaks both English and Spanish.

Well organized tour with great communication both before and during tour. Our guide Angie offered detailed explanations of the sites we were to see. At the mirador, we did not see any condors when the fog came in. Thankfully, we moved to another viewpoint and saw them soaring! Our driver Tomas navigated our shuttle van with ease. He safely transported us through winding and narrow roads. A great job well done!

The car did not want to turn the AC on and the van was so hot! We even asked multiple times tour guide to turn it on
The success of this excursion (the Canyon of Colca and the valley ) is due to Edwin Junco , who runs Pablo Tour . and speaks perfect French . We were 4 .... Providing private transport ( excellent driver , very careful ... the road is long and winding ) the guide Willi studied French at the Alliance Française , and speaks it excellent .. he is very competent .. Thanks to him we were able to admire the flight of a Condor! Simple but very decent accommodation in Cabanaconde ... village to discover .. authentic! Catering during the stay good .. splendid hikes by the Canyon! ..for a flat rate of 300 euros per person .. I am happy to recommend this agency . Jean luc

The tour was poor, Maria tried to explain the things and only half of the people could hear because she sat on the middle of the vehicle. They put us on the front with Marcos , the driver (he was nice tought). In the beggining they made us await 40 minutes outside to pick us up (at 3:40 on the morning).
Overall the experience was good but it could have been much better if both the tour guide Maria and the driver Oscar cared more for there passengers. We were very disappointed in the way Maria set time lines and they didn’t correspond to each stop! Also they dropped us off in no-man’s land and told us to walk. We had 14hrs day and then they just dropped us off without warning. Most passengers were chocked at this. It felt that they wanted to go home early to do personal stuff! Chocking!
Full busy day at Colca Canyon - ability to see local towns, spot flying condors over the Canyon, visit hot springs, got some adrenaline-pumping activities. Definitely long and tiring day, but worth every penny.
I loved my experience at Colca Canyon! Of course, the pick-up is very early in the morning (you really have to get up at dawn) and you have to know that the day is almost entirely on the bus, with quite a few trips in the mountains. It’s also a very touristy excursion... but honestly, it’s definitely worth it. Our guide was great: kind, dynamic and very clear in his explanations. We feel that she knows the area perfectly well and likes to share it. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and we were incredibly lucky to see many condors: a magical moment! Lunch was excellent: a buffet of local specialties really hearty and varied. Even the breakfast served in the morning was nice. Be careful though: if you are sensitive to motion sickness or altitude, plan something, as the day is 100% by bus in the mountains. In short: a very beautiful day, breathtaking views and a top organization. I recommend!
Unfortunately the tuor did not comply with the detailed description on the site! We decided to buy this Tuor after reading the itinerary that proposed some alternative stops that were not performed. Also the description said maximum 18 people, while we traveled on a large bus with more than 30 visitors. Another terrible point of the thunder were the activities proposed as an alternative to Hot Sping: 30 Soles each to be able to go a lettermanto kayak for 50 meters, after which the river was blocked. Very sad. It's not worth the long drive.
