Long day but worth while
Great experience with Gilber, a long day and an early start but we got to see condors in their natural habitat. Breakfast was basic but welcomed with bread and scrambled eggs etc while the buffet lunch was really nice with a great variety. The coach was comfortable but you must wrap up as it gets cold in the early morning - layers are best so you can adjust as it warms up later. The thermal springs were fun too and well worth it. Its a tiring day but you can nap on the bus atvthe beginning and end.

Unforgettable experience would highly recommend visiting!
This trip was well worth the early start. The views were stunning and the tour guide was great at explaining the local culture of the area. Great value for money and would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful area to visit, but if you need English, make sure you are getting an English tour!
The canyon was beautiful!! The group seemed very disorganized. The restaurant we went to for both breakfast and lunch was disappointing. Cold food at breakast and very limited “options”. The tour was in Spanish and English, but seemed like the Spanish explanations were much more thorough. The stop at the hot springs was time that could have been better spent at the canyon. Overall, a long day, the sights were amazing, but we were always wondering what was going on.

Odd geography

Spectacular to see so many condors in a single place. Excellent lunch.
The hot springs, from my point of view, were not to my liking. And the bus microphone didn't work very well, with moments where the information wasn't understood very well, whether in Spanish or English.

too little time to see the Condors
We booked the Colca Canyon tour to see the Condors. We did the tour via Inti Peru travel and we were the only English-speaking tourists. The rest of the guests were locals.
The tour started at 03:00 and it was extremely cold in the bus. The heating was not turned on, which resulted in frozen windows on the inside and chattering teeth.
The guide reported everything in Spanish and regularly forgot (and only at the end) to mention it in English as well. The best time to see condors is from 7:30 to 9:00 am, and because of unnecessary photo stops along the way (which we could have made on the way back too), we didn't arrive until 9 o'clock!
We saw the condors, but we were actually too late!
Lunch (buffet) was very good.

Some days we have more Latin American travelers and other days more international visitors, but our guides are expected to provide the same essential information in both languages. As this is a full-day experience with an early departure and changing high-altitude conditions, the journey can be tiring and temperatures can vary considerably. We always recommend travelers come prepared for this.

If you have days, do the trekking one
The excursion is very long, a lot of travel to see 3-4 things, but well, we already knew that. As a drawback, the cold that it was on the bus on the way there, it was night and upon climbing to the 4900 meters the windows had ice on the inside. Being some of the most visited sites, a ton of people everywhere. A shame not to have had more time to do the trekking one.

Es cierto, el Colca Full Day es un recorrido intenso, pensado principalmente para viajeros que tienen poco tiempo y quieren conocer los principales atractivos del cañón en un solo día.
Para quienes cuentan con más tiempo, recomendamos mucho el Colca 2D/1N o el trekking, ya que permiten disfrutar del paisaje con más calma, conocer las comunidades y vivir el cañón de una manera totalmente diferente. 🏔️✨

Fantastic
The overall tour was very interesting and definitely value-for-money. We got to see many sites. Mario was fantastic! As the only non-spanish speaker in our group, he personally translated what he had said to everyone else to me afterwards, so I understood the information. I would recommend to anyone!

Long day but awe inspiring visit
Firstly this is an epic day. The Colca canyon is awe inspiring and the opportunity to see the majestic condors in their natural habitat is a privilege. Getting there is an absolute mission. It’s a lot of driving for a day but manageable and the driver got us there and back. The guide was ok although didn’t seem clear on whether lunch was including or not. When I showed my email this was all sorted. The buffet was very good with tasty and well cooked food. The visit to the thermal baths was ok although I believe there are bigger and better baths available than the ones we went too. My only real criticism was the lack of communication beforehand with no confirmation of pick up time (all other tours have done this). This would have been helpful due the early start. All in all, a good day.

Be careful with the agency
We took the Andaraperutours tour with the full day in Colca. The truth is that the agency disappointed us. They sent us a PDF of what the trip includes, and breakfast and lunch were included. Well, it turns out that when we went to eat, they told us it wasn't included and that we had to pay 90 soles; we told them that the PDF clearly stated it was in the pack, and they replied that it wasn't updated and that now it wasn't. Shameful; we reproached them that they couldn't do things like that; if you have sent an itinerary, you cannot change it, and in ours, lunch was included. We only received a "sorry, but you have to pay." The food was not good and it was very expensive.
The breakfast was also half a slice of ham with half a slice of cheese and bread.
Aside from that, the trip was as long as it was expensive. The only thing worth it is the condor viewpoint; the rest is a tourist trap.
