À Sarchi, vous pourrez découvrir une grande variété d'objets d'artisanat et de souvenirs typiques du Costa Rica. Vous pourrez également admirer la plus grande charrette à bœufs du monde, selon le Livre Guinness des records. Ce chariot mesure deux étages de haut, près de 14 mètres de long et pèse 2 tonnes ; sa construction a duré 70 jours.
L'impressionnant volcan Arenal est une merveille naturelle grandiose située à La Fortuna (La Fortune), dans la commune de San Carlos. On le croyait autrefois éteint, jusqu'à ce qu'il connaisse une éruption majeure en 1968. Il attire aujourd’hui des touristes du monde entier, venus dans l’espoir d’assister à des phénomènes volcaniques, comme les panaches de fumée blanche qui s’échappent de ce géant conique.
Pour terminer la journée en beauté, nous nous détendrons dans un véritable paradis thermal bénéficiant d'un emplacement privilégié, d'une vue panoramique sur le volcan et de magnifiques jardins. Il dispose de bassins minéraux thermaux alimentés par les formations géologiques souterraines du volcan Arenal. On y trouve également des bassins d'eau froide et d'eau chaude, alimentés par des sources naturelles issues de la forêt tropicale, sans aucun produit chimique. Les eaux coulent à flot.

The guide (Pedro) and driver (Giovanni) were great! But the bus itself was uncomfortable: very small seats with little leg room. The tour is advertised as 12 hours but it took closer to 15. Long, exhausting day. Lunch was decent, but they didn’t serve coffee. Dinner was good, but the buffet line was long and we were rushed to eat quickly. People who can experience nausea are asked to take a Dramamine pill on the ride up/down the mountain. The dose they gave me was too strong and I ended up feeling drugged, dazed, and awful.

Amazing driver Rodrigue’s and tour guide Donald. Really beautiful scenery. Bus needs an upgrade it was too small for 3 hour drive.

Please do not book this tour. We were picked up at 7:30 AM and spent most of the day driving. The first stop at the ox cart was about 20 minutes with no explanation or information from the guide. After that, it was hours in the van with only a quick bathroom break until lunch around 1 PM. The volcano stop lasted about 15 minutes and felt extremely rushed—I couldn’t even get a clear photo before we had to leave. The hot springs stop was also short, with less than 2.5 hours before being rushed again to eat and head back. Overall, you spend only about 3 hours outside the vehicle, yet the tour runs from 7:30 AM to nearly 11 PM. There was no history or context provided at any stop. Very disappointing and felt like a waste of the entire day. I highly recommend going on your own—there are shuttle buses to La Fortuna for around $45 one way. Stay overnight and return the next day for a much better experience.

They canceled my tour on Friday (Thursday afternoon) and had only one option. Saturday. 16 hour day 7:30 am-11:30 pm. Guide was less than friendly to me while overly accommodating to others. Restaurants were very good. Driver amazing.

Very good experience Excellent guide The stops were all very quiet with time to enjoy and take pictures Both lunch and dinner were excellent. I chose to do one-way and stay in La Fortuna, were super friendly and left me right in the Hotel!
