Peter and Sam were great. We saw lots of cool animals up close. Sam kindly and thoughtfully answered my 8 million questions so I could get to know Kenya better. Thank you!
Our flights were changed meaning we had an unexpected 11 hours to spend at Nairobi airport. Rather than hang around the airport we booked this tour last minute [24hrs before] and we are delighted we did as it was absolutely AWESOME! We were met by Stephen at arrivals and he was super and ensured we had a fantastic day - we were very well looked after. The game drive through the park was fun and exciting -and we feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have got so close to some amazing wildlife such as lions, rhino and giraffes. Stephen was knowledgeable about the animals and took great care to ensure we had the best experience to observe them. We leave with great memories and photos and are now thankful for our flights being changed to give us that time!
This was a great day. We enjoyed our time in the park and saw a good number and variety of animals. Our guide Martin was great and did all that he could to give us the best views possible.
The tour to the Nairobi National Park during our layover was amazing! Stephen Mutuku was a great guide with a huge experience and showed us so many animals! We recommend this Tour with Stephen, we had the chance to see a lion, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, rhinos, monkeys hippos, a crocodile…simply amazing! Stephen showed us around and we had great lunch after the park and a nice visit at the Kobe Though beads factory before returning to the airport. Thank you again Stephen!!😊
I had a 12-hour layover, and deciding to spend it on something exciting turned out to be one of my best choices! :) I booked a half-day safari tour, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. My driver, Titus, met me at the airport and we headed straight to Nairobi National Park. He was warm, friendly, and extremely professional, sharing fascinating insights about the park and its wildlife throughout the tour. I felt so lucky – although it had rained in the days before, the sun was shining beautifully that day. In just four hours, I saw an amazing variety of animals, both from afar (Titus kindly provided binoculars) and up close. Before the tour ended, I also got to have a meal, which was perfect. Titus then ensured I got safely back to the airport. This experience was unforgettable, and I am truly grateful to Titus. I wholeheartedly recommend Gracepatt Ecotours Kenya to anyone visiting Nairobi – a perfect way to turn a layover into an incredible adventure!
We had a great day with Peter in Nairobi National Park! It was the perfect way to spend a long afternoon before our evening flights. We saw impalas, hippos, rhinos, ostriches, so many different birds, zebras, giraffes, baboons, buffalo, and pumbas. After we had our fill of animals, Peter took us to a great spot that had delicious food and super clean bathrooms. It was so nice after a long trip to end on such a high note. Thanks, Peter!
As a solo female traveler who was running late to attend this excursion, I felt so comfortable with my guide! He was very knowledgeable about the best areas to see animals, was very familiar with the area, extremely communicative beforehand, accommodated my request to grab lunch before my connecting flight, was flexible, kept great track of time, and made sure I made it to my flight on time after several delays on my part. He was so helpful and appreciated!
I usually avoid long layovers (12 hours), but this is by far the best one I’ve ever experienced. Firstly, the tour is private, so you do not need to wait on a group or anything, which means more time to see the park. Booking was simple. The excursion representative contacted me after booking to confirm all the details. The day of, Peter our tour guide, was in constant contact with me. As long as you have Whatsapp, everything should run smooth. We were picked up by Peter at the airport with our personal item and carry-on and had more than enough space. The experience itself was beautiful. Seeing all the animals in their natural environment is truly magical. Peter was awesome and knowledgeable. He truly tries to find all the animals. We only missed the lions but he tried his best, so we appreciated it. He allowed us time to buy some souvenirs. We got back to the airport in time to relax and wait for our flight. 10/10 would recommend!
Great tour with Joe! We were very lucky and got to see alot of animals. He made me feel comfortable solo traveling.
Great guide. Good variety of animals and good way to entertain time while waiting for connection flight.
