Cette expérience offre la seule visite directe de Bath à Stonehenge. Le trajet jusqu'à Stonehenge prend un peu moins d'une heure dans chaque sens. Nous utilisons des minibus de luxe avec de grandes fenêtres panoramiques, la climatisation et des sièges confortables pour vous assurer que votre voyage soit relaxant et agréable. En cours de route, le chauffeur / guide vous indiquera tous les sites, des vues panoramiques sur les plaines de Salisbury aux forts de Celtic Hill et aux villages de chaume. Par temps clair, vous pourrez même apercevoir le célèbre cheval blanc de Westbury, l'une des sculptures de Chalk Hill de l'ancien Wessex.

Itinéraire
Vous serez à Stonehenge pour un minimum de 2 heures. C'est amplement le temps de voir Stonehenge correctement et de profiter de la boutique de souvenirs, du café et de la salle d'exposition du centre d'accueil. Le chauffeur/guide triera vos billets à votre arrivée et vous expliquera l'aménagement du site. Le temps passé à Stonehenge est à vous de profiter à votre rythme. Des audioguides sont disponibles en 10 langues différentes à utiliser autour des pierres, ceux-ci sont gratuits mais sous réserve de disponibilité.
Par temps clair, nous pourrons voir le Westbury White Horse, une colline de craie sculptée dans les années 1770. Notre itinéraire offre une vue panoramique sur la plaine de Salisbury et la vallée d'Avon, et passe par Cley Hill, le fort de la colline de l'âge du fer et le tumulus.
Nous voyons des chaumières et une prison historique dans le cadre de notre voyage.

Half a day tour to the Stonehenge was perfect lengthwise. The tour consists of the driver picking you up in central Bath, driving you along 15 or so other people in a small bus to Stonehenge while telling you a few fun facts along the way, and getting you tickets to Stonehenge. You are on your own for two hours at Stonehenge (but there is a fabulous free tour app that you can download and listen to on your phone). Then, the driver drives you back for an hour but just plays music along the way. We expected a little more narration from the tour at the location but the app made up for the human narration fabulously.
Sally was a great driver and a wonderful guide. Definitely handy to get there before the majority of coaches. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was cancelled the day before the tour. There was no availability to book another tour from Bath for the same day. There was no communication on why the tour was cancelled.
Hi Michael, I'm afraid Stonehenge was closed on the day of your tour due to the extreme heat wave that we were experiencing. This decision was made by English Heritage, who own and operate the site, and we were also only given one day's notice of the closure. We immediately contacted everyone on the tour to explain the situation, by phone call, text and email, but we were not able to reach you on the numbers provided. The decision to close Stonehenge was out of our hands and we did make every effort to let you know what had happened. A full refund was, of course, issued. We extend our sincere apologies for the disappointment.
Richard was a great guide. We really enjoyed it. I think the only suggestion would be to give a little more time at the site if possible, maybe 30 minutes longer.
