Description

Excellent tour. Guide was attentive to all in the tour. Driver knew his stuff. Iguazu Falls is beauty and magnificence beyond words. The Brazilian side is worth doing and has exceptional panoramic views. The only criticism I have was that the van was a little hard to get into, but was comfy once inside.
The most amazing experience - just loved it. The Falls are overwhelming in their size and the sound of the thundering water. A trip of a lifetime.
This was a superb tour. The falls from the Brazilian side of the park are simply breathtaking and it was truly an outstanding experience. Our guide was fun, knowledgeable and knew how to read the group. There were only 6 if us on the tour and he made sure we got to know each other which made it more enjoyable. He was kind when I was slow on the stairs, and didn't rush me at all. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and if I could I would give it 6/5 ⭐
When I chose this tour, which is not cheap, I had the expectation of having a bit of the overall view of the cataract, especially the central part called the Devil's throat. Meanwhile, the Basque was only a little after a cache on the Argentine side, and far away from the central part of the waterfalls. And also the pilot of the lanch made the question of approaching one of the falls on the Argentine side and give us, twice, a bath of cold water. Then, it came back with speed causing the thermal sensation to leave us quite cold. A bad-taste joke. The walk through the forest was interesting.
The sites thenselves are an awesome experience. I would highly recommend going to the Itaipu power plant even if you think that it's not something that interests you. It's massive and the views are very spectacular. The transport was organised superbly. I do not have a single complaint.
If you are staying in Puerto Iguazu, it is a very good idea to do the Brasilian side one day andthe Argentinian next. The falls are unbelievably beautiful and the dam is impressive. Our guide, Andres, was really nice and knowledgeable. We were some of the first foreigners to visit since the pandemic began. It felt very special. Andres was excited to be back and to see his friends, bresilian guides. They were excited to see foreigners and they told us their English was rusted after 20 months 😀 I only put 3/5 because Tangol didn’t do a very good job with communication. They were not very aware of the new procedures with covid. They made me buy tickets for the Argentinian park instead of Brasilian. They told us the guide would pick us up at 7:40am. When no one was there by 8am we tried to call. No answer. The guide showed up a couple minutes later, he didn’t get the address right. But he told us Tangol asked him to come at 8am. It al stared with a big scare and lost about $90 buying 4 tickets for the wrong park 😞
Dear Agathe, Thank you for your honest feedback. We truly apologize for what happened. We made a mistake sending you the wrong link to buy your tickets. We are really sorry about it. However, we did sent you the email address to get refund. About COVID procedures we also sent you the informations you needed to know to enter the brazilian territory. Finally, we would like to remember that you contracted a regular tour in group and not a private tour. This implies that the pick up vehicle can sometimes have a little delay. We hope you still have enjoyed this beautiful landscapes which are one of the caracterictic places of Argentina. Best regards, Tangol Travel Agency
I visited the falls from the Argentine side the day before. Impressive. It was great to see the falls from the Brazilian side as I got the panoramic view of the falls I was standing over the day before. Totally worth it. The visit to Itaipu Dam was a good choice. I wish I had known there was a much more detailed tour that included visiting the turbines and control center. I would have opted for that versus the panoramic tour. The dam which is the second largest in the world is an amazing example of construction. The capybaras, owls and birds on the grounds were an added bonus.
We are so happy to hear about your experience at Iguazu Falls. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the Itaipu Dam. We hope to see you again! Best regards.
If the falls are a wonderful natural sight, the view of them from the side of our sister country, is really impressive. Added to the warmth of its people.

The visit to the Falls was OK, the guide was pretty good, but there was not much to do, no hikes or anything. The Dam extension was a big waste. the guide refused to explain anyhting in English, the ehad phones did nto work. We simply drove around the dam. We did not stop to see anything at close range. I thought we would get to see one of the turbines . Do not choose the extension.

Thank you for taking the time to let a review, so we can continue to improve our services. We are sorry that you were displeased with your guide at the Dam. We take this feedback and forward it to the guide as an opportunity to improve our services. We hope you have enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of the Iguazu National Park and its waterfalls and the wonderful work of engineering. Thank you for your honest feedback, it always helps us to improve our services. Kind regards
