Le Cloître, avec ses mosaïques colorées, est considéré comme le monument le plus recherché qui puisse être construit dans son genre. Ce n'est qu'après avoir découvert le cimetière souterrain des moines capucins dans un voyage à travers le temps et l'espace vers un monde absolument fascinant, mystérieux et fascinant. Cathédrale et cloître de Monreale.
Le cloître bénédictin de Monreale (Chiostro dei Benedettini), ouvert du lundi au samedi de 9:00 à 18:30 et de 9:00 à 13:00 le dimanche et les jours fériés, a été achevé aux alentours de 1200. Il mesure 47 x 47 mètres et se situe du côté sud de la cathédrale. Chaque côté dispose de 26 arches qui reposent sur des colonnes. Les splendides chapiteaux incluent des cycles narratifs de l'Ancien et du Nouveau Testament.

The guide was the highlight of the trip. Salvo was communicating the day before and met us right at the entrance/exit of the port in Palermo. He really took time to learn our names and speak to each of us on a unique level. The sites were great and the guide was able to speak about the great history

Salvo was our guide. He was excellent, thorough, and informative every step of the way. The tour ended up being private with just me and my husband. The cathedral in Monreale was beyond beautiful Salvo explained much of the artwork in the Cathedral. We then moved on to the catacombs where Salvo continued to point out various pieces and explain their importance. The entire tour was 3 hours long. I feel that it was expensive for what we received, but Salvo did a wonderful job!
