Excursion d'une demi-journée au mont Vésuve de Pompéi en bus
Description
Vésuve, le volcan encore actif qu'en 79 après JC. détruit l'ancienne Pompéi. Le Vésuve a son charme et mérite d'être visité. Un transfert groupé depuis Pompéi sera possible tous les jours qui arrivera à l'entrée du cratère du Vésuve (1000m d'altitude). De là, avec le ticket d'entrée qui vous sera fourni avant le départ, vous pourrez accéder à la montée d'environ 300m. pour atteindre le point culminant du volcan et admirer à la fois le paysage à couper le souffle et l'intérieur du cratère. La visite sera libre, puis à l'heure convenue nous nous retrouverons au point d'arrivée pour retourner à Pompéi. Une expérience vraiment unique !! Sur le chemin du retour, d'autres arrêts vous laisseront le temps de prendre des photos depuis différents points de vue. Le parc du Vésuve est riche en ressources naturelles, histoire de la volcanologie, paysages à couper le souffle, cultures séculaires et traditions qui font de la région du Vésuve l'un des endroits les plus fascinants et les plus visités au monde.

Excursion : départ de Pompéi avec un minibus confortable pour atteindre une altitude de 1000 mt. Nous vous emmènerons à travers le parc national du Vésuve (créé en 1995) qui est également une réserve de biosphère de l'UNESCO. L'itinéraire comprend du temps libre pour visiter le cratère. Au point culminant, vous bénéficierez d'une vue spectaculaire sur toute la région. Au retour, d'autres arrêts vous laisseront le temps de prendre des photos depuis différents points de vue.

We arrived in good time for a 3pm departure as printed on the voucher to be told the buses had departed at 1.30pm so we missed the trip. We were promised a refund as there was no mention anywhere in the documentation of the earlier departure. We booked another trip for the following day but unfortunately conditions were not as good the next day on Vesuvius so there were no views from the top.

The actual top of Vesuvius was incredible but paying all that money for the bus ride there... hmmmmm not sure about that. Plus, when I bought the tickets it said anyone under 18 pays the child price. I put my son's birthdate in and paid for 2 adult tickets and 1 child. When we got to the tour they gave us an upcharge of 20 Euros because they said I paid the incorrect amount for my son. Well, I paid what was on the Viator website! So we paid it but that was annoying. So overall, you're asking me to rate the tour which was basically just a bus ride. We had to hike up the volcano side on our own, no guide. Just told to meet back at the bus at a certain time. So this "Tour" is really bus fare and entry fee to the volcano, which I was upcharged for on the day of.

Great value trip. Minibus from central Pompeii to the coach park then a 45 minute (hard but well worth it) to the crater for excellent views.

We were very excited to see Mt Vesuvius. Unfortunately due to rain and fog the tour was canceled. We understand the weather can't be controlled. But they took 30 min to tell us that we were not going. Unfortunately by that time we were out of options. Thank you
