Au cours de cette expérience, vous suivrez le parcours du gin depuis ses origines jusqu'à l'esprit moderne que nous connaissons et aimons. Votre guide vous guidera à travers les différentes saveurs, vous expliquera l'histoire du gin et vous suggérera les mélangeurs à ajouter aux (4) gins que vous goûterez - le mélange vous appartient afin que vous puissiez l'avoir aussi fort ou aussi délicat que tu aimerais! Tenu dans The Lost Close, c'est un quartier d'Édimbourg qui a été enterré sous l'ancien bâtiment de la prison jusqu'à ce qu'il soit découvert en 2018, un espace auquel nous seuls avons accès, et il n'y a nulle part ailleurs comme ça dans la ville !

A unique, interesting and super fun experience! We loved Hayley’s expert knowledge and storytelling, we learnt a lot and felt privileged to see and experience this incredible lost close whilst sipping and learning about the evolution of gin. Amazing to see a glimpse into Edinburgh and wider Scotland during those periods of history. A must do when visiting Edinburgh -5 star experience that we would highly recommend. The venue was amazing, very atmospheric and loved all the associated history and our host, Lydia was just lovely. Very knowledgeable and welcoming. It was a small group so easy to chat amongst ourselves. It was a gift and thoroughly enjoyed doing something different. We did have an issue with booking online but it was all to do with the Virgin voucher and it's booking process rather than the venue. They were able to sort it all out very efficiently. Loved it.

I booked this tour on Viator for our small group and had an enjoyable time in the very special Lost Close with Elanor as our guide through some unique gin choices with a ton of history thrown in to make it very interesting as well. Mixers are included as well.

I brought my wife here as a wee surprise for our first anniversary and I managed to keep it a secret until we were led down into the vault. We loved the setting, the history of the vault and all the historical facts about gin. We also loved the gins that we sampled. Our tour guide, Halley was very personable and informative. A good time was had.

Absolutely AMAZING! It’s a MUST, seriously. Hailey and Mark were fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, great sense of humor, storytelling skills and very patient with all our questions. Also they were very accommodating with my restriction of not liking gin (ahahah I know) - and let me joint the gin tour while also offering a beer one. Seriously, do it. And it’s insanely cheap for the value of it! Congratulations guys!

This was such an interesting way to learn about Scottish history through gin. All of the samples we tasted were a part of the story, and our host was such a wonderful story teller and you can tell it’s a topic she enjoys and she was very intentional with her choices of gin she shared with us. The tasting rooms and space were also really cool and definitely added to the experience.
