Beautiful canyon and tour. Nate our tour guide was the best! We had the best experience- beautiful pictures and guide was informative
We drove to location from parking lot on van with a/c when other group rolled on pickup trucks with open bed. No need to breathe dust. This is buggest plus vs other company. Very kind and intelligent tour guide from Navajo tribe. Made best photos for each tourist in group. He knows all special expositions to make a magic. It was very light promenade without any difficulties. We are so happy.
Very cool. The Navajo guide was so knowledgeable and very friendly. They took so many pictures of and for us and pointed out cool formations. Very grateful they shared the culture with us!
The guide was awesome but beware of the scam this company runs on ground. When we arrived the site to check in they did not recognize our reservation from Viator and were forcing us to buy from them directly again. Then a shady guy came to us and asked us to pay $45 cash on top of what we had already paid. No receipt, no details. Had to do with no options left, noticed that we were not alone but a bunch of folks targeted with same pitch. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the guide, he was great. Else would have given 1 or half star. Stay away from this operator for sure.
I had booked this tour on May 3rd for the Upper antelope Canyon. My credit card was charged on that day. I printed out the directions and information on the booking confirmation and it stated to go to Tse Bighanilini Tours AZ-98 Milepost 299.8, Page, AZ 86040 and that we had to be there a minimum 45 mins early as reservations closed then. We arrived at 7:30 (30 mins before the scheduled time to be there). Tour was at 8:45am. We walk up to the counter and the man (supervisor Joshua Begay) states he doesn’t have our reservation. He agrees that I paid viator for a ticket but whoever the 3rd party is never transferred it. By now it’s going for 8am. He agrees to sell us two tickets from him directly to join on the tour. Honestly Joshua was very nice and told us we are happy to state his name to viator to try to figure out where the disconnect was. Then at approximately 8:30 a different guy starts calling my phone and yelling my name in the waiting area. He says we should have found him and he had been looking for us. I stated we were here way earlier than need be and the tickets weren’t where they said they were (at the Tse Bighanilini counter) and he is way later than the time clearly stated on the booking. He says that we shouldn’t have paid the other guy and he had our tickets and is working separately. I honestly don’t know which one of these guys was scamming us or if it was both but I’m honestly highly disappointed. I have used viator many times in many different countries and I’ve never had a problem except for this.
Inside the canyon was fantastic. Coming out to return to truck was brutal. VERY long (felt like a MILE!) with lots of steps & uphill grade. Description mentioned none of this.
Awesome. Only thing is it didn't include permit fee Assumed it would as I booked with y'all the lower analope and it came with permit. Saw it afterwards on my ticket not included
Book your tour directly with the Native Americans so you don’t pay ridiculous prices. The tour itself was fine, but be prepared on this one to walk up a hill and all the way back to the start outside. They use pickup trucks to transports guests, and it’s an extremely bumpy dirt road.
Upper Antelope Canyon is amazing but I think the cost is crazy. After paying for the tour, the Navajo fee and a tip, it was $400 for two people to be in the Canyon 45 minutes. I'm glad that we went but it was too expensive.
The directions are not very good. Need a bit more clarification on meeting spot. The tour was great though. Our guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. It was nice having a groups of just 8 people
