Itinéraire
Vous commencerez par la visite d’un village authentique d’Embera, où vous serez chaleureusement accueilli par la communauté. Apprenez-en davantage sur leurs coutumes, traditions et artisanat uniques, et obtenez un aperçu de leur vie quotidienne. Profitez d'un délicieux repas traditionnel Embera, fraîchement préparé par les villageois, accompagné de fruits tropicaux et d'eau rafraîchissante.
Ensuite, nous nous dirigerons vers une cascade rafraîchissante le long de la rivière Chagres. Selon la saison, vous profiterez d'une courte promenade de 5 à 20 minutes le long du lit de la rivière, entouré de paysages luxuriants de jungle. Assurez-vous d'apporter des chaussures d'eau ou des Crocs, car certaines parties du sentier peuvent être glissantes ou humides. Prenez un moment pour vous rafraîchir dans les piscines naturelles et capturer des photos inoubliables!

- Si le niveau d'eau de la rivière est trop haut ou trop bas, cette visite n'inclut pas la visite de la cascade. Nous tenterons de remplacer la cascade par une autre option où les clients pourront se baigner dans la rivière Gamboa. Pendant la saison des pluies, avec de fortes pluies ou pendant les saisons sèches avec des conditions de sécheresse, nous nous réservons le droit de sauter cette partie de la visite pour la sécurité de nos invités.

- La randonnée de 15 à 20 minutes jusqu'à la cascade implique de marcher sur un sentier de jungle qui peut être glissant et avoir de plus gros rochers, nous recommandons donc fortement de porter des chaussures d'eau ou des Crocs. Cette partie de l'excursion est déconseillée aux voyageurs ayant des problèmes de mobilité, des problèmes de dos, des blessures au genou ou au pied, ou tout autre problème médical qui pourrait limiter votre capacité de randonnée. Veuillez faire preuve de prudence et juger vos propres capacités. Les clients qui préfèrent ne pas participer à la randonnée en cascade peuvent rester dans le bateau de piragua sous la surveillance d'un des guides Embera.

Excellent experience. Adventure. Food. Culture. Loved it. Part of a girl’s trip. We got picked up by van, taken to the Chagres where we got in canoes to the falls. Then we hiked with Emberra guides to the waterfalls. We went during the rainy season so we weren’t able to get close to the waterfall but the hike there was refreshing and exciting and we did get to swim. Then we hiked back to the canoes and went to the village, where they shared the history of the people and village and we had THE MOST delicious food. We actually saw children catching fish from the river and taking it to the kitchen. Will do it again.

This excursion provided an incredible look at nature in it's rarest form. Our driver Douglas guide provided pleasant conversation throughout the ride. The indigenous people were kind and friendly. The waterfall was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Italiano was especially helpful in helping us to maneuver our walk to the waterfall. When we returned to the village area we were greeted with local music. Their performance was heartwarming and genuine. The history of the people was fascinating. The food they served was really tasty and well presented.

It was a beautiful relaxing trip. The local people took us to the waterfall in a long narrow motor boat. The villagers were nice and welcoming. Our tour guide Richard was great explaining things

Richard was an outstanding guide and extremely knowledgeable about Panama and the Embera people. He entertained us with his insight and endless well of facts about Noriega, the relationship between Panama and the United States, etc. I would def recommend! Oh, and def wear water shoes not flip flops maybe even tennis shoes you can get wet. The climbing around the waterfall is not flip flop safe and barefoot is not comfortable, and bring water and a hat.

The best part of our trip was our guide Richard. He was so engaging and helpful. He stopped at some key locations in the city and told us a lot about the history of Panama. Throughout the drive he was a wealth of knowledge and history including his own as a Panamanian growing up. 5 stars for tour but 10 star rating for Richard !!
