Randonnée Ella Rock Défiez-vous avec l'une des randonnées les plus enrichissantes d'Ella. Le sentier vous emmène à travers des voies ferrées pittoresques, des plantations de thé luxuriantes, des forêts d'eucalyptus et une campagne paisible avant d'atteindre le sommet. Depuis le sommet, profitez d'une vue panoramique imprenable sur l'Ella Gap, les montagnes environnantes et les vallées verdoyantes. La randonnée aller-retour dure généralement entre 3 et 4 heures et est idéale pour les amoureux de la nature et les amateurs d'aventure.
La légende Ravana De nombreux habitants pensent que Nil Diya Pokuna était connecté au légendaire réseau de tunnels souterrains du roi Ravana depuis le Ramayana. Selon le folklore : Ravana utilisa ces tunnels pour voyager secrètement à travers son royaume. L'étang bleu était un lieu de baignade pour la princesse Sita. Certains pensent même que des chambres cachées et des trésors restent à l'intérieur de la grotte.

Very sweet and kind tour guide! He gave me taxi to sigiriya from Ella for fair price and also stopped at the Dambulla cave for me! If you’re around Ella he sometimes helps out at the garden view cafe on the train tracks heading to Ella rock, please stop by here for a great lunch and the freshest juice after your hike, and support this small family business 1000 stars!!

We met Shasica randomly in Ella during climbing Ella rock. He came with a great idea of travelling from Ella to Yala, visiting safari and then travelling from Yala to Welligama. He was very kind and friendly whole time we spent together and the price was too very fair. Especially thanks to him we could see leopards end elephants very near and could spend in Yala safari arounf 11 hours in total. After spending few days with Shashica I am persuaded about his honesty and kindness.

Organised a safe and comfortable drive from Ella to Yala National Park for a safari. Excellent guiding experience. Driver was extremely knowledgeable about the park history and wildlife. Saw Leopards, Elephants, peacocks, monkeys and more. The driver even took us all the way to Mirissa afterwards for our next stay. Highly recommend booking in for a tour.

We happened to run into our guide in Ella, we had a conversation and he offered to drive us to Ahangama via Udawalawe National Park with a very reasonable price. Very chatty and lovely person, taught us about history, Sri Lankan culture and everyday tips and tricks about the life in the island

We spent a day with Shashi , our guide who took us from Ella to Talpe.He went out of his way to make our day very memorable. Stopping to look up close at a variety of monkeys , waterfalls and stopping for cake and coffee. He was also happy to go off route to take us to Yala national safari park to see leopards and elephants.He arranged this at short notice and ensured that everything went very smoothly. We can highly recommend Shashi for his knowledge , kindness and energy. And finally - he is a great photographer and took many great photographs ( animals and of us ) which he shared with us .

Shashi was the best tour guide I ever had. I was with him 2 days in Ella, and he customized my days based on my interests and vibe, which was absolutely perfect. We did some tourist attractions and some hidden gems , it was a great combination of different types of experiences and activities . He didn’t just show me sites, he shared with me experiences, knowledge, history, culture , community. He even helped me figure out a way to give back to the local community.. we were able to organize a donation of school supplies for children in the two days we were together. He showed me Sri Lanka in a way I would have never seen on my own. I highly recommend working with him. He will make your trip unforgettable.
