Cette excursion d'une journée au départ d'Édimbourg vous emmène visiter les impressionnants Kelpies, le magnifique Loch Lomond, le magnifique parc national des Trossachs et le pays des légendes écossaises William Wallace et Rob Roy. Avant un arrêt fascinant au château de Stirling pour découvrir l'histoire et les histoires de la royauté écossaise. Veuillez noter : à partir du 3 décembre 2024, nos visites d'Édimbourg partiront de NCP Castle Terrace, EH1 2EW.

Itinéraire
Au départ d’Édimbourg, nous nous dirigeons vers notre première étape de la journée : les Kelpies. Avec 30m de haut, ce sont les plus grandes sculptures équines du monde et représentent des créatures mythiques du folklore écossais.
Nous nous arrêtons à Balloch au Loch Lomond pour donner à nos clients la possibilité de faire une croisière à travers le Loch Lomond. L'entrée pour la croisière n'est pas incluse.
Pour ceux qui ne sont pas intéressés à faire la croisière, nous nous arrêtons à Loch Lomond Shores, pour les clients de faire une promenade tranquille.
Nous continuons à travers le parc national de Trossachs, également connu sous le nom de « Highlands in Miniature » pour son abondance de lochs, de montagnes et de forêts. Il est aussi célèbre pour le légendaire hors-la-loi, Rob Roy MacGregor. Nous passerons du temps à explorer la région avant de nous arrêter pour déjeuner dans un petit village immergé dans son cadre magnifique.
Après le déjeuner, nous traversons la ville de Callander, passons devant le château médiéval de Doune avant de faire notre dernière étape de la journée au château de Stirling (en option). Le site est l'une des forteresses les plus importantes d'Écosse, située en hauteur sur la roche volcanique et offrant une vue magnifique sur le paysage environnant. Vous aurez le temps de visiter le château et d'apprendre les exploits de personnages historiques clés, y compris William Wallace, Robert le Bruce et Marie Reine d'Écosse. Avec beaucoup de choses intéressantes à voir et à faire ici, l'expérience du château de Stirling est un must pour tout visiteur en Écosse. Nous commençons ensuite notre voyage vers Édimbourg.
Nous nous arrêterons à South Queensferry pour une vue imprenable sur le pont Forth

Had a wonderful tour of the Kelpies, Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle! Would recommend the tour starting with the castle first since it was the highlight of the trip. Our guide Alistair was very knowledgeable and great driver!

The tour with our guide Brian today was fun and interesting. My family and I have learned a lot about Scotland and its history. My 9 year old daughter and I have really enjoyed this day trip - beautiful sights, many varied stops and we were very lucky with gorgeous weather too. However none of it would be as enjoyable if it wasn’t for our great driver/guide Brian. Very friendly, knowledgeable and above all funny! We had many laughs and it gave the whole day a joyful & friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend! I would give it five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kelpies are good for a photo, 15 mins max Loch Lomond take the boat ride, it’s nice Stirling castle was amazing if you love castles, and we do! Callum was a very good driver.

Read this review before you waste your time and money with the Short company The Tour bus was in very poor shape. The shocks were bad. The majority of the speakers didn’t work. They filled the bus putting somebody in the front seat over the axle. You couldn’t hear yourself sick. The driver is supposed to be your guy well our driver had a script that he memorized, but he spoke so fast even the people sitting where the speakers did work did not understand him so how can you enjoy your trip when you don’t know what you’re doing or where you’re going? Part of the reason I was convinced to go with this company was this was an eight hour trip well the bus was supposed to leave at 8:30. It said be there promptly but they waited 20 minutes for somebody but we didn’t get back until after seven at night, why because at the first stop when a few people were late coming on they said oh sorry were late the bus driver said don’t worry about it so each step more more people became later and later the most offensive thing was we had a one hour stop for lunch. What was raining? I tried to get back on the bus five minutes before the one hour was up, the bus driver wasn’t there. He said he got a full hour break and wasn’t going to come back to the bus till his hour was up. It would be nice if he told us that so he showed up almost 10 minutes late by the time everybody was on the bus another 20 minutes late. This occurred throughout the entire time.
