Dunn's River Falls à Ocho Rios est l'une des attractions les plus populaires de la Jamaïque. C'est une cascade naturelle alimentée par une source souterraine. C'est certainement l'un des plus beaux endroits que vous aurez jamais vus. L'apparence parfaite de cette cascade en cascade pourrait vous faire penser qu'elle est artificielle. NB: Ceci est uniquement pour le transport vers et depuis l'attraction, une fois que vous êtes sur place, il y aura un droit d'entrée de 25 $ par personne pour la visite.

Lorsque vous arrivez, vous serez accueilli par l'âne résident de Dunn's River Fall. Il s'appelle Bunny. Une fois que vous arrivez à la plage, c’est là que vous commencez à escalader les chutes. Vous avez la possibilité de vous tenir par la main et de former un train, ou vous pouvez essayer de trouver votre propre chemin vers le sommet. Attention aux roches de couleur sombre. C'est un signe que cela pourrait être très glissant.

Driver not super friendly. Had to ask him a couple times to turn down the R&B music in the car. Some of it with foul language.

Great place and well worth a visit. We didn’t have the guided tour up the falls but went in at various points for photos but would recommend it Good value for money

Climbing the falls was an amazing experience and our guides were great. The line to get a guide was very long due to a group from a cruise ship tour that came in, but I would not attempt to climb the falls without one - especially if you have children. Mine are seven and nine years old. It’s very tricky and can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. You can skip the line and just play in the Falls with no problem, but if you want to climb it from top to the bottom, a guide is the way to go. There’s no charge for a guide, but they do request a gratuity. There’s also a lovely beach at the bottom of the falls with beautiful water. There’s a small splash pad area with a waterslide, but it was mostly for younger children. My seven and nine-year-old were a bit too big for it. On the way out of the park, there are many local vendors selling crafts, and they can get quite aggressive. It made me a bit uncomfortable. I wish I had a camera in a waterproof pouch to take photos. You can’t bring anything you don’t want to get very wet on the climb. water shoes are required and you can buy decent ones for $10 there. They also have lockers available.

The Falls were magical. Well worth the drive from Negril. Our tour guide and driver, Robert “Bob” Graver, from “Know Jamaica Tours” was fantastic. He arrived early at our hotel and told us all about the various places we saw as we drove to the falls. He even took us to a great road side restaurant for awesome jerked chicken and pork. We really enjoyed this tour and will remember it as one of our best trips in Jamaica.
