We highly recommend this experience! It was such a fun and exciting way to see another side of Jamaica. The guides and everyone we met were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was fascinating to learn more about Jamaican culture, the local community, and the beautiful nature around us. We saw so much amazing scenery, rode through the countryside, and even got to swim in the river. A truly memorable and unique experience. Highly recommended! 🫶
An off the beaten path experience of Jamaica like no other. Many thanks to our excellent Rasta Safari tour guides, Gilbert and Nick. Many blessings to you and your families. Thank you Nicholas in the medicinal farm for educating us on the benefits of the plants they cultivate. Also, many thanks to Owen. our driver to and from our hotel. These people are extremely knowledgeable and treated us with great care. "An experience like no other"
Overall a great experience from the welcome drink to the lunch meal. Had a wonderful time with Daniel as my co driver; very nice!
Perfect from start to finish. Good vibes, good food, beautiful landscapes, nice people. Everything was on time as promised. Totally recommend!
Excellent tour of the hills and up close view of the culture. Nick and Stelo were outstanding guides along the routes.
From the pictures of other reviewers, I knew I had to experience rastasafari. Andre was the driver and picked me up from papaya beach. (quite a few excursions didn’t include pickup from there) he was timely and kind. We chatted a little bit but I also got to enjoy the drive through the towns and see the hills. Upon arrival to the safari, Alicia greeted me with a welcome beverage. Everybody there was so smiley and happy, it was a nice warm welcome. Alicia introduced me to the tour guide, Bigga. Bigga was extremely knowledgeable about the land which was nice to chat about while riding around. The cows and goats are so exciting to see, many babies!! Bigga helped me take as many pictures as I wanted which was amazing as I’m solo traveling. The tour was at my own pace which was very relaxing. We stopped to swim at the bridge and watch people jump in. The water is heavenly and refreshing. Good for the soul. Many shared smiles from locals in the area. After the atv tour finished, I was sat down with a delicious vegan meal. The rice was perfectly moist, cabbage was steamed in flavor and the curry was otherworldly. I thank all of you for opening your home to me and allowing others to experience it. Thank you for the kindness. I can’t wait to come back and experience the cave!!!!
We had such an amazing experience driving the ATVs around the countryside of Jamaica! We felt fully immersed in the culture and beauty of the island. My entire family had a blast! After driving the ATVs through the jungle, we stopped at a little local spot with food, souvenirs, and a natural pool. We were given the option to look around, jump in the water, and/or buy some things to bring back home. A local named, “The Woodpecker” was awesome and we bought some really cool hand carved souvenirs from him! Great pricing too. We ended the tour with a home cooked meal. Delicious & much needed after the fun adventure! If you are looking for something less touristy, I would 100% recommend this. We truly felt that we experienced the “real Jamaica” and not just a park or amusement attraction made for tourists. Overall, great experience and one of my family’s favorite excursions!
This was the best excursion I have ever experienced as a returning Jamaican visiting with my family. We traveled as a family of seven, and Marley, the owner, along with our guide Alyssa, made the experience truly exceptional. I was raised in St. Elizabeth by my grandmother and return to Jamaica every year to share our culture with my children. We’ve stayed at resorts and enjoyed many excursions over the years, but this one was, by far, the most meaningful. I truly felt at home in my own country while supporting my local community, which made the experience even more worthwhile. Growing up, my grandmother would always give us different bush teas and herbal remedies, simply saying, “It’s good for you.” I never really understood why until this tour. Now I know the purpose and benefits of the very plants I grew up drinking and using as medicine—and I learned so much more. Thank you, Marley and Alyssa and our motorbike guy that lead us through the hills, the entire crew is awesome ?for such an authentic, educational, and unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Jamaica. The Rodney Family
This was one of the most authentic experiences I’ve ever had and definitely lthe best experience we had in Jamaica. Everything felt genuine and authentic. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into a local community with great respect. Our guides were outstanding: friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. They explained Rastafarian culture, local traditions, farming, and everyday life while giving us plenty of time to explore at our own pace. Driving the ATVs through the countryside was a lot of fun and a big part of the experience. One of the highlights was stopping at the local river, where members of the community were also enjoying their day. It felt completely natural and authentic, not like a tourist attraction. The homemade vegan lunch at the end was another highlight. It was fresh, delicious, and one of the best meals we had during our entire trip to Jamaica. My entire family loved it—my wife, my two kids (15 and 19), and I all agreed that this was the best experience of our trip. If you’re looking to understand the real Jamaica beyond the resorts and beaches, this tour is an absolute must.
Our RastaSafari ATV tour was hands down one of the best experiences of our trip to Jamaica! From the moment we arrived Carlos and our tour guides Gilbert, Kenna made us feel so welcome. They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having an amazing time. This wasn't just an ATV ride—it was the full Jamaican experience. We got to explore beautiful scenery, learn about the local culture, and even meet a talented local artist known as the WoodPecker and purchased a hand carved wooden piece and even engraved our names right on the spot which made the experience even more special and authentic. The guides' energy, humor, and genuine passion made the tour unforgettable. If you're visiting Jamaica, I can't recommend RastaSafari enough. Thank you, Gilbert, Kenna, Carlos, the Wood Pecker and the entire staff for making this such a memorable adventure. We can't wait to come back!
