Description

Awesome experience

Awesome experience. Would totally recommend. We saw flying fish, turtles and loads of dolphins. The boat was comfortable and gave out free soft drinks. We took sea sickness tablets before we went and all felt fine. Don’t hesitate, book it!

Save your money.

Don’t book. 2 minutes of dolphins for 3 hours of the entire boat feeling seasick? Not worth it in the slightest. Oh, and that’s IF you see any. If you want to spend your hard earned cash to shove your face in a sick bag for half a day (and don’t worry, they hand them out like sweets), then by all means - go ahead and waste your money. It’d be a different story if you actually saw anything - though, somehow, I have a feeling it probably wouldn’t.

A great experience from start to fin ;)

We stayed at Salobre hotel and serenity Golf resort maspalomas, which is up in the mountains. The team advised us they didn’t do pick up from this resort but from a hotel down in maspalomas, which is actually the same hotel as the salobre’s free shuttle bus drops off and picks up from. It worked out really well: we got off one shuttle bus and onto the pick up bus, and then got onto the boat. We did the same on the way back. At the harbour, we joined a queue on the left to check in with our online tickets, which was pretty fast moving, and actually they suggested we wait in the shade behind them rather than join to queue on the right, as we had a baby, which was kind. Then, they gave us priority boarding and asked us to sit at the table in the shade if we wanted. This was totally unexpected and really nice. The boat trip itself was so fun. As we waited in the harbour, we saw a ray, thin fish , crabs, and as we left the harbour and moved into open water, bobbing along we saw flying fish (totally unreal), birds swooping down, and we had just a general lovely sense of adventure that comes with boat trips. The wind in your hair and the smell of salt. We really didn’t expect to see dolphins because we understood it’s completely unpredictable, but we were hopeful, and then so happy we actually did. The dolphins were beautiful, diving in and out of the waves. We saw bottlenose dolphins; my partner snapped an amazing pic with several of them jumping out of the waves. Like many of the reviewers comment, many people were sick. Luckily we don’t suffer with travel or sea sickness but we observed that the staff were amazing and very kind, handing out sick bags, bringing water, very sweet and friendly. I would say with the volume of people feeling ill I’d advise everyone to take anti travel sick pills just in case. The staff were chatty and kind and they told us all about the dolphins we saw. The bar staff chatted to our little kid and joked around. Because we have a baby (23 months) and child (5) we didn’t bring our swimmers and swim in the sea at the 15 minute swim break on the way back, bur we enjoyed watching people diving off the boat and enjoying the ocean. We did see people with young kids with body floats on, so perhaps we’d do that next time, but our aim was to have a lovey boat trip together. Thanks so much for a great trip 🤩

Overrated!

Very few dolphins and no whales. A little disappointing. The boat was crowded, so it was difficult to see anything when you are not on the right side.

Tourists should stay away: the guides hate tourists and speak Spanish. Dilapidated boat.

The speakers were not working at my seat; I did not hear anything. No compensation was offered to me despite this inconvenience. We did not see any turtles; the boat does not have a glass bottom like the other competitors. The other companies offer a 5-hour tour for this price.

It's okay.

You should definitely not be sensitive, as waves of up to 4 meters await you. We were able to handle it well, but half of the passengers had to vomit. The crew had a lot to do distributing enough bags. The time in the dolphin area was relatively short, and the time for the swimming stop was also just about 10 minutes. There were significantly better options on other Canary Islands. A positive aspect is that there were free soft drinks on board and the crew was nice and attentive.

Beautiful but could be better

In itself, you get your money's worth. The service on board is good crew helpful if you get sick because yes when so many people go around you you go yourself. But as a person who was allowed in a handicapped place because of walking difficulties, it was quite unlikely that some people dived rather antisocially for you and you hardly saw anything. Luckily my daughter saw it but this is a real shame they don't supervise this anymore. I have been able to see a thing or two because of this and not a good picture. Thank you fellow people!
