Many thanks for a truly outstanding day. This visit to the Dolomites was remarkable for the journeys to and from and for the mountains themselves. Such beautiful and contrasting sights and the Dolomites themselves are distinctly otherworldly. An extraordinarily knowledgeable guide made the day even better with engaging and insightful commentary at key points. Heartily recommend.
Fantastic day seeing the Dolomites and some surprisingly ‘Alpine’esc villages on the way back. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and the bus driver was amazing in terms of getting g the large bus around the very tight bends up and down the mountain!
Pick up on time - bus nice, first stop about an hour in was at service station on the motorway followed shortly by 10min break at the lake which was enough tbh. Passo pordoi was the main event and as expected amazing but we were given 1hr 45mins which just isn’t enough time if you want to explore plus sit down for a quick bite. Needs to be at least 2hrs as lots of us had to grab a sandwich from one of the cafes by the bus which for take away wasn’t great choice. We then stopped in Ortesi on the way back for 35min - not enough time to really explore tbh but I would sacrifice that for more time in the mountains. Lots of driving BUT views amazing so overall happy just wish we were given more time on Passo Pordoi and maybe a couple of photos opportunity stops in other locations would have been nice.
The pick up was simple and easy despite us standing slightly at the wrong location, we were collected and taken onboard. Christina was an excellent guide, her commentary was interesting and informative as she hopped from one language to another. The travelling was extremely comfortable and the scenery throughout was amazing. Every stop was breathtaking; plenty of photo opportunities to capture the beauty of the surroundings. Some very cool stops for coffee, souvenirs and exploration. Thanks also to Paolo the driver for a great journey, navigating sharp bends which made us a little queasy at times! Overall a brilliant experience, highly recommend seeing the Dolomites via this full day coach tour.
Breathtaking adventure! Truly unforgettable experience and so grateful for the opportunity. Thank you to our guide and driver! Both have amazing skills!
Just stunning, a long day on the Coach but absolutely worth it. Just lovely.
Just loved it! An early start as we were staying in Verona but easily doable to make the 7am pick up. This had been a dream to do for a long time and it did not disappoint. The guide was first class & gave a lot of insights into the area. The driver very skilled on the hairpin bends! The stops were well paced out and took in all the key sights, we all got some spectacular shots.
This is one of the best day trips I've probably done, it was organised well, pick up points were precise, and it was a packed day with real value for money.
Overall, this is a fantastic way to experience the Dolomites if you don’t want the stress of driving the mountain roads yourself. You cover an incredible amount in one day, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. A few things to bear in mind: * Instead of the stop at Ortisei, I think it would have been better to stop at Sassolungo/Sella Pass instead, as the views there are even more spectacular. * A short comfort/toilet stop somewhere during the long drive would have been appreciated. * Be aware that there isn’t really a proper breakfast stop. It’s an early start, so I’d recommend bringing your own breakfast or snacks. We did, and the apple strudel and coffee stop wasn’t quite enough for breakfast. * Lunch options were fairly limited. If I were to do this trip again, I’d bring a picnic and enjoy it at Passo Pordoi, as it’s such a beautiful spot. * I would also have liked more time at Passo Pordoi, which was the highlight of the trip. Around two hours, including finding lunch, felt a little too rushed for the best stop of the day. A couple of things to note: * We were picked up from Sirmione at 6:25 am and didn’t get our first proper view of the Dolomites until around 11:30 am, so it is a very long day with a lot of driving. * That said, if you’re nervous about driving in the mountains or simply want an easy, hassle-free way to see the Dolomites, this tour is a great option. Finally, a big thank you to our driver, who did an amazing job navigating the mountain roads safely and smoothly throughout the day.
Good to see the Dolomites but spent more time on the coach than out of it and only very small stop offs on the way. Bit confusing when picked up from meeting point as we were put in a taxi to meet another coach when everyone else got on the the coach at the meeting point. No explanation given as to why. On our return we had to ask where we were being dropped off which prompted the guide to make sure a taxi had been arranged for us to go back to the meeting point. Enjoyed the Dolomites but not the confusion and long time on the coach. I will say the driver was really good and we felt safe in his coach the whole time.
