Après une courte randonnée, vous serez récompensé par une vue magnifique sur la ville et vous pourrez également voir les statues dorées et les temples scintiller au clair de lune ! Cette visite comprend également un arrêt à Wat Umong, un temple bouddhiste vieux de 700 ans connu pour ses anciens chedis et tunnels avec des peintures originales de la dynastie Lanna. La visite comprend un guide anglophone pour vous aider et vous fournir l'histoire de chaque lieu que vous allez visiter. Visiter ces sites la nuit vous laisse un souvenir inoubliable de Chiang Mai. Itinéraire
Après la prise en charge, nous visiterons Wat Umong. Ce temple situé dans la forêt est complètement différent des autres temples typiques, celui-ci est construit à l'intérieur d'un tunnel. Entrez dans les tunnels de Wat Umong et admirez les impressionnantes images de Bouddha. Peu importe la religion que vous avez. Lorsque vous entrez dans le tunnel, il vous chuchote les secrets de ce monde et l'histoire ancienne de ce temple construit en 1297.
Remontez à bord du minibus et parcourez les collines entourant Chiang Mai pour découvrir le Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. Montez ensuite un escalier de 306 marches menant au temple Doi Suthep. Cet escalier menant au site est orné du corps impressionnant du mythique serpent à tête de dragon, ou Naga, serpentant sur 306 marches. C'est certainement la meilleure façon d'approcher le temple mais il y a aussi un funiculaire si vous êtes moins stable sur vos pieds. En atteignant le sommet, admirez la pagode dorée de style Lanna recouverte de plaques d'or gravées, flanquée de quatre parapluies ornementaux, et une vue fantastique sur la ville nocturne depuis la montagne.

Just a cathartic evening of spirituality. Rising above Chiang Mai to witness the majestic grounds of this temple was amazing.
Nice small group and knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Both sites also have lots of history and worth seeing up close. Would have been nice to watch the sunset from the viewing platform at the top of the steps but that aside, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting both sites. We chose the evening tour and were not disappointed. The air-conditioned van ride, both Pick Up and Drop Off to and from hotel, was safe and comfortable. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, attentive, respectful and friendly. He was mindful of the range of ages and needs in his group, and provided support when needed. He took the time to highlight interesting historical references, meanings, and insights we would otherwise have missed. Doi Suthep was especially stunning, a feast for the eyes that left us speechless and in awe. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience

It is worth this night visit. In addition to seeing it illuminated, heat and crowds of tourists are avoided. The girl who made us the guide very good, gave us very interesting information. Then he gave us a very good restaurant recommendation for dinner and even took us there. Top!

Great experience. Our guide took the time to explain what Buddhism entails. He explained the story of the Buddha through the fresco that goes around the temple. It was really great. And the Doi Suthep at night plus the view of Chiang Mai is absolutely to do
