Le premier spectacle de la visite est la grande mosquée du sultan Qaboos, qui est vraiment un chef-d'œuvre de l'architecture mondiale. Il a fallu 6 ans pour l'ériger et en 2001, il a été ouvert avec succès. Cette mosquée est un bâtiment islamique traditionnel traditionnel en grès et en marbre. Il a 5 minarets - un minaret principal et 4 minarets qui créent un look particulier. La conception interne est riche en mosaïques, d'énormes tapis persans faits à la main et de lustres décorés de cristaux.
La perle de l'art musical et de la scène d'Oman.
C’est un endroit idéal si vous voulez jeter un coup d’œil sur la vie ordinaire d’Oman. Il suffit de parcourir les rangées, de chercher les articles, de négocier et d’amuser, car ici, vous trouverez tout, à partir d’épices, de tapis de finition, de vases ou simplement de souvenirs.
Résidence du sultan Qaboos. Des deux côtés, les forts entourent le palais, vous pourrez donc profiter du paysage magnifique. Situé dans le centre de la ville, il attire toujours beaucoup de visiteurs et, même si les gens ne sont pas autorisés à y entrer, ils peuvent facilement se déplacer et prendre des photos de qualité.
Bait Al Zubair est une fondation culturelle créée initialement avec un musée privé qui a ouvert ses portes en bois sculpté au public en 1998. Elle est financée par ses fondateurs, la famille Zubair. En 2005, la famille a créé la Fondation Bait Al Zubair, la branche culturelle et sociale de l'entreprise familiale, The Zubair Corporation. La Fondation gère l'espace culturel et développe des projets liés à la culture et au patrimoine, aux arts, à la communauté, à l'histoire et à l'édition. Bait al Zubair présente la collection familiale d'objets omanais qui s'étend sur plusieurs siècles et est considérée comme la plus belle propriété privée. Ses artefacts ethnographiques reflètent des compétences héritées hautement spécialisées qui définissent la société omanaise, à la fois passée et présente. C'est l'une des icônes architecturales du pays et, en 1999, il a été le fier récipiendaire du prix d'excellence architecturale de Sa Majesté le Sultan Qaboos, la première fois qu'il était décerné à Oman.

We had an amazing tour discovering Muscat. The beautiful Opera House, Mutrah Fort, Museum and Palace, and the incredible Muscat Mosque. It has to be seen to be believed. Our tour guide Mahmoud was so informative, and gave us a wonderful introduction to the history of Muscat. Mahmoud is an exceptional guide. A great ambassador for his country.
