Découvrez une nouvelle façon de découvrir une ville avec cette visite « gamifiée » ! Explorez Gand lors de cette visite à pied autoguidée qui vous permet de voir la ville sous un jour différent. Vous découvrirez même des endroits cachés que la plupart des locaux ne connaissent pas ! Plongez-vous dans une histoire unique en résolvant des énigmes captivantes qui mettent en valeur l'histoire et les sites remarquables de la ville. Une confession sur le lit de mort pourrait indiquer l'emplacement d'un panneau manquant du tableau « Agneau de Dieu ». Pouvez-vous savoir s'il y a quelqu'un encore en vie qui connaît son emplacement exact ? Rassemblez vos amis et mettez à l'épreuve vos compétences en résolution de problèmes et en exploration ! - Commencez votre aventure à tout moment - Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est un smartphone avec un forfait de données mobiles - Convient à une équipe de 5 à 6 joueurs maximum âgés de 15 ans et plus (encadrement recommandé pour les jeunes joueurs) - Cette visite de la ville dure environ 2 heures et fait environ 2,5 kilomètres

Itinéraire
Le Vrijdagmarkt de Gand est l'une des plus anciennes places de la ville. La place mesure environ un hectare et a joué un rôle majeur dans l’histoire de la ville.
La place est dominée du côté nord par le Gravensteen. La Lieve s'étend à l'ouest de la place, derrière les bâtiments. Au sud, vous trouverez la rivière Lys. À l'est se trouve le quartier de Patershol. La place porte le nom de Saint Pharaïldis de Gand.
Le bâtiment de l'église est dédié à Nicolas van Myra et est un bon exemple du style gothique de l'Escaut. Unique est la tour de traverse, plus précisément une tour-lanterne, qui éclaire le transept et les arcs-boutants du chœur principal. La tour a une hauteur de 76 mètres.
Le Stadshal van Gent est une grande construction à auvent ouvert située sur la place Emile Braunplein, dans le centre historique de Gand. Il fait partie du projet KoBra, un projet de développement urbain plus vaste au centre de la ville.
Le Geeraard de Duivelsteen est un bâtiment qui a joué un rôle important dans la défense du Portus aan de Reep, une colonie commerciale qui fut le berceau de la naissance de Gand.
Le Palais épiscopal de Gand est le siège administratif du diocèse de Gand et la résidence de l'évêque. Le bâtiment actuel est situé sur la Bisdomplein, dans la capitale de la Flandre orientale. Il est protégé en tant que monument.
L'église était à l'origine une église paroissiale dédiée à Jean-Baptiste. En 942, Transmar, l'évêque de Tournai, vint consacrer l'église sous le nom de Sint-Janskerk.

Nice way to see the city in a playful way. Because you have to solve puzzles, you look at the city differently. You see things you don't normally see. Also nice story line.

Nice way to walk the city. You look at the buildings and surroundings in a fun interactive way. In between nice puzzles.

Super nice escape. We had the challenging variant! Luckily you could ask for a hint😬 We took it easy and sometimes ended up on a terrace. This was for us the 4x Ghent but with the escape parts of Ghent seen that we had never seen.

Was a very fun game to do. You see a lot of the city but you are also doing wonderful things. Have a snack and a drink along the way and guaranteed a day of fun.

We were 3 adults and 5 young people between 11 and 18 years. There is something educational behind it but we often found the puzzles too complicated. For example, if you have bits of photos on your smartphone and they need to be found in the area, you should start sharing the screen, because everyone should be able to view those photos multiple times. And the search range (the number of buildings you have to look at) is sometimes far too large. It is a back-and-forth for that smartphone and then some participants quickly drop out. In the end it took us twice as long as the 2 hours set out. There should have been more variation in difficulty, it could also be a bit more adventurous. Alternate thinking and doing assignments. For such a search I find paper versions a lot more convenient.
Dank voor jullie review en uitgebreide feedback. Heel jammer en vervelend om te horen dat het voor jullie niet goed werkte! Ik kan me voorstellen dat het met 1 telefoon en 8 mensen lastig is ook. Iedereen in 1 team kan met dezelfde code en link ook inloggen (dus jullie konden op met meerdere telefoon tegelijk spelen). We gaan de uitleg daarover verbeteren, dank voor het attenderen hierop! Ik zal de aanschaf laten restitueren, ik vind het heel vervelend dat het niet heeft gebracht wat het zou moeten. Ik kan helaas niet zien bij welke boeking dit hoort, zou je ons daarvoor een berichtje willen sturen (info@outsideescape.nl)? Dan kunnen we het terug laten boeken.
Very fun activity for team building, the advantage is that you can also talk to each other during this outside escape. You will visit places in Ghent where you would normally not end up. Nicely done, thanks!

Nice way to discover the city. You will look at your surroundings in a different way and come to places that you might otherwise have passed by. We were with our children (16,18,21), our eldest had taken the initiative and everyone had fun. We had chosen the difficult variant, we found some assignments a bit too time-consuming and with one we really couldn't figure out what the intention was, but that didn't spoil the fun. Worth repeating in another city!
Very nice escape tour. The assignments were challenging but feasible. The app worked perfectly and you can always ask for hints ;-)

We did the outdoor escape with our family in Ghent. It's surprising to look at the city with different eyes during a walk! The escape was really well put together, nice varied assignments and puzzles. Good system of asking for hints so that you don't really get stuck. We will definitely do it again in another city.

We did this escape tour with 4 adults from the family. It was great fun! It was also a real puzzle for those who already knew Ghent as a city well. For all assignments you need clues from the city, which makes you really pay attention to the details of the city. Despite the rain we were unstoppable. Recommended!
