De Sofia: Les gorges de Trun et le sentier de pierre Dragovski

Savez-vous ce qu'est Lactobacillus bulgaricus? C'est une bactérie spécifique, vit dans les produits laitiers locaux. Ses qualités peuvent réduire les cellules cancéreuses et le vieillissement. Il a été découvert pour la première fois dans cette région où nous allons - Trun. La production de yaourt a des traditions profondes - historiquement, il y a toujours eu des gens sur ces terres. Des Thraces, des Romains et même des Croisés se sont installés ici. Venez à cette aventure, où nous randonnerons sur le Cervin bulgare - 1118 mètres d'altitude avec une vue panoramique et les gorges de la rivière Erma, l'un des trésors nationaux du pays!

Itinéraire
Le transfert de Sofia au début du sentier de la pierre Dragovski dure environ une heure et demie. Le sentier est difficile, mais pour atteindre le sommet, il faut environ 45 minutes. Vous serez récompensé par une vue magnifique sur les montagnes bulgares. Ensuite, nous reviendrons par un sentier différent, où nous pourrons voir le petit ruisseau de la rivière Dragovski et quelques cascades.
Puis nous nous dirigeons vers Trun, une ville riche en ressources. Le transfert dure moins de 30 minutes. Nous arrêterons la voiture au bout de la ville et nous irons dans les gorges. De nombreuses légendes existent autour de cet endroit. La promenade ici est entourée de deux options - facile et difficile et dure environ 2 heures.

It was a 2 hour drive through an alpine spring landscape before we parked the car and headed for the gorge. My guide asked me if I was used to hiking – No. Did I want to use a hiking stick – never even seen one! We walked up an increasingly steep slope, following a narrow path through the trees above the gorge. We then descended down rubble, soil steps which lead to a narrow, short, basic wooden bridge across the gorge. The climb back up the other side was steeper and more strenuous, but the view from that side was equally as good through the gorge. The guide asked if I’d like to cross over further along the stream, but that meant more scrambling up and down the steep hillside, so instead we returned to our car via the forest road. Basically, the view is wonderful but you really need to be fit and used to hiking to walk the whole gorge.
