The overall experience was good, Versailles is beautiful and a must to visit. As far as the logistics, the meeting time was not very clear, our tickets had an entry time of 8:45, so since there was no meeting time on the tickets, we got to the get your guide office at 7:30 to find out they didn’t open until 8:15, I did message them the day before, but no one replied. Once the staff got it, they told us to come back at 8:55 At the end of the tour we didn’t know a new tour guide would meet us to take us back, so we sat there and they thought we were no show, but we walked to the bus with everyone else when we saw people that were in our bus earlier.
Our guide was excellent and provided a great deal of detail on each of the rooms, which our 18-yr old history buff grandson really enjoyed. She left us though to find the gardens on our own, which was a bit confusing there at the end. Would have preferred she get us out there before leaving. We rented a golf cart to see more of the gardens in the 2 hours we had left, which was a great decision! The best thing about the tour ending was that the bus left us close enough to the Eiffel Tower that we could walk to it! Will probably rebook this one when we take our granddaughter in 2028.
This was a really good way to navigate a first time visit to Versailles. Overall timing for the day was good - we saw all the highlights in the palace and still had a good 3 hours to explore to the gardens, which was just right.
The Palace of Versailles and beautiful and grand with many works of art and culture a memorable visit The beautiful and perfect gardens are well worth a visit
Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and helped us move to areas where we could hear. Super friendly!
Full day with guided tour of palace, gardens and Mary Antoinette’s Estate booked. But due to it being 35 degrees the tour was changed on arrival to palace guided tour & garden access. I was only refunded 89.00 but the difference between the 2 tours was $117. The tour satisfaction is going to depend on the Guide you get. There were 2 guides. Unfortunately Nathan didnt discuss some rooms or what the rooms were used for. In the hall of mirrors he turned off his mic and told us to look around. I noticed the other guide and group so I dialed into their number and got to hear great information for that room and the next.
Thank you for your comment. Please note that we refunded the correct amount; however, due to currency exchange rate fluctuations, the amount received in dollars may differ slightly from the original charge. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. On the day of your visit, the palace was particularly crowded due to an earlier closure, which created challenging conditions for the tour. In such situations, guides may not be able to stop in every room, as the palace enforces strict regulations regarding the amount of people and time they can spend in each area. This may explain why some rooms were passed through without detailed commentary. We understand how disappointing and frustrating this experience must have been, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the experience we provide to our guests.
The Palace was beautiful but we found the tour not to be organized . It was not informative like we thought it would be . Learned very little about the actual palace . Also after the tour we weren’t told about options for train or golf cart rentals . The day was super hot and knowing what we could do after tour was done would have helped with us wandering around in the heat

We will share your comments with our team so that we can review our procedures and ensure that the options available to visitors in Versailles are explained more clearly in the future. Very hot in Versailles, but tour guide , Mauro, was extremely knowledgeable, competent, and entertaining! Would highly recommend.
This was a great trip! In the morning when we were about to leave there was an accident that the tour bus couldn’t get around, we were delayed about an hour but the company handled it perfectly. It was completely out of their control and really wasn’t that big of a deal, but they still gave everyone a partial refund which I thought was very good of them. The palace tour was great as well. The guide was informed and very good at keeping the whole group together even in big crowds. The gardens were my favorite part! Highly recommend.
My daughter and I really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was Nils and he was fantastic and pretty funny. I highly recommend this tour.
