Highly recommended tour! Alessandro takes you through parts of the city that you probably wouldn't have visited on your own, telling you about them as only a Genoese person could. Legends and folk tales come to life through his songs, which serve as the common thread throughout the tour, making it one of a kind. Alessandro proved to be an attentive and engaging guide, giving us tips on how to experience the city and where to eat if you are looking for the authenticity of Genoese cuisine. Even though there were only two of us, there were no awkward moments, and the entire walk (lasting almost three hours) passed in a relaxed and conversational atmosphere. Already suggested to many friends!

Excellent guide! Beautiful, original idea

Wonderful experience! To celebrate a 40th anniversary we relied on this Storyteller Service and it was a winning choice! Alessandro, the storyteller, guided us through the history of the city of Genoa with joy and pride and the songs he wrote are really very beautiful. An experience to try because a guide can tell you the story.....but music adds magic. Thank you so much

Alessandro was an excellent tour guide. He relayed the history of Genoa to us in a very unique way. He not only told us many stories, but also sang songs which he composed himself, bringing the folklore of this city to life. He took us to places which tourists would not normally see. The history of the battle between the Republic of Genoa, and that of Pisa in the 13th century as well as that of the old wall around Genoa (which I did not know excisted) was very interesting. Highly recommended.

Too long ,, lacks variety. Wonderful guide took us through the historical small back alleys of Genoa. After an hour and a half we felt, that we would like to return to the more modern side of Genoa. Appreciated his songs and lyrics, but three of them would have been enough. I am suggesting to the wonderful guide, to make half of the three plus hour tour, first half old historical and second half the modern side of Genoa. Manfred
