A must thing to do. There are many boat trip companies. We went with Lovely because they had an open top. Turns out they’ve only been going a few months but you couldn’t tell. Very experienced driver and Ruben our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions that were put at him. Lasted a good hour. Drinks were available if wanted. We got a discount as we went through tours and tickets.
What a fantastic experience! This afternoon we enjoyed an amazing canal cruise with Lovely Cruises. The captain Omar and host Ema were the perfect team—friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. They shared so many interesting stories about Amsterdam, but always with great humor, which made the cruise both informative and entertaining. I was born and raised in Amsterdam, so I know these canals and their history quite well. That’s exactly why I can honestly say this was one of the best canal cruises I’ve experienced. A well-deserved 10 out of 10! I was accompanied by a foreign guest, and she absolutely loved every minute of it. She learned so much about the city, laughed throughout the tour, and said it was one of the highlights of her visit to Amsterdam. The service was excellent as well. We were offered drinks several times during the cruise, with a great selection to choose from, and the crew made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Whether you’re visiting Amsterdam for the first time or you’ve lived here your whole life, I highly recommend Lovely Cruises. Thank you for an unforgettable afternoon—we’ll definitely be back!

Super nice tour with Fred and Kate. Skipper Fred is very agile with sailing through the sometimes narrow canals and has been able to tell many interesting things about the city in addition to the standard information. Definitely recommended!

We showed up at the exact location early, but we were told the Lovely Cruises does NOT HAVE an 8pm cruise. They had one at 8:30pm but it was “Unfortunately SOLD OUT”. Fernando did come outside and arrange for us to ride on another canal cruise company, KINBOAT. This company was very accommodating. While we had to pay them €30 each, they were happy to include us on their cruise. I will be working with via tour for a full refund.
We had a great experience with Lovely Cruises! Our guides were super knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Amsterdam, and kept it very engaging and fun. It was very hot the day we went, so the umbrellas were a nice reprieve from the sun. We upgraded and got the drinks package, but it only includes beer and wine. You have to pay for any speciality drinks. My family and I only had one small plastic cup of white wine, so I wouldn't upgrade the ticket again. Overall great experience and we learned a lot about Amsterdam!

We had the best tour around the canals of Amsterdam. Rubin and … i can’t remember her name (i’m so sorry)! it was my birthday and was a perfect way to celebrate. just the perfect length of time. Rubin was very knowledgeable about the city and was a fantastic guide!

Excellent. Fortunately, this wonderful canal tour was available the same day after another operator cancelled at the last minute, after first trying to move us to another date/time. We had booked months ago - that operator has zero respect for international travellers who must book well in advance. Thanks for a wonderful experience, and for choosing to run the tour despite your not having a full boat.

Great recommendation! We were on the world's best boat trip yesterday with guide Victor and captain Gino. The trip was a perfect mix of knowledge and humor, and the atmosphere was at the top on the boat. We could have taken another walk. The boat was clean and very comfortable to sit in. Excellent boat cruise through Amsterdam's beautiful canals. Ryan and Amy was great, servicable and very knowledgable about Amsterdam. Fun and chill atmosphere. This is now the boat cruise I will compare all other boat cruises with.
