Great introduction to the city, its history and notable sites. Provided a wonderful foundation for the rest of my time in Cork.
It was a good tour the speakers were helpful.
Thank you for taking our tour and providing your positive review.
Professional, warm, informative. Tour guide was a lifelong Cork resident with the ability to share the city history and also personalize with his own lifelong experiences.
A lot of information conveyed in an entertaining way - good length. Great tour-guide.
Thank you so much for taking our tour and then taking the time to post your review. We are delighted you enjoyed it so much.
Excellent tour. Eddie was really knowledgable and enthusiastic. Earpieces were a helpful addition, as the city could be noisy, so we could hear guide clearly throughout. Good overview of the cities history along with interesting stories and insights into its current developments. Would definitely recomend.
Thank you for your very positive comments and your recommendations. We are delighted you enjoyed the tour. Although the Vox hearing devices costs us more to provide, we believe they enhance the visitor experience. Again, many thanks
This review is solely based on the lack of communication and verbal tech treatment from this organization. I informed them 16 minutes prior I would be late and asked where we can meet. No response. So I walked to spots 2 and 3 according to the itinerary thinking surely we’d see them and meet them there since no one cared to call OR respond to my message at 11:44am. Those stops should’ve taken 25 minutes and we were there at 12:15. We waited 40 minutes for arrival but saw no one. When I requested a refund I apparently hit a nerve with someone because I marked “tour didn’t show” seeing at it was the only fitting option to choose from and THEN I got a message at 3:04pm very abruptly and rudely saying my refund request is “blatantly untrue” and “there are multiple witnesses who can attest to this”. Evidently, they can respond to a message but ignored my first.
You did not show up for your tour. the message you sent through the booking system you choose did not reach us until after the tour was well started. Our guide and all other participants waited for you. We left instructions for you at the tourist office as to where we would be for the following 15 minutes. When you book you are advised to arrive 10 minutes before departure, 18 minutes after that you were still not there. We can't have an entire tour await your late arrival. Despite your failure to arrive on time and to participate in the tour you have reviewed it at zero. Thanks. If you wish to participate in a tour on an alternative date we are happy to facilitate you.
Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining. Easy walk around city center. Answered all our questions
Delighted you enjoyed our tour and thank you for the kind review.
A great tour of Cork. Our guide , Eddie, was informative, knowledgeable and supportive of the needs of group participants. He was calm, clear and had a great sense of humour. The staff at the Cork info centre were sensational too. A really worthwhile experience.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a positive review. We are delighted with your observations and positive feedback.
Great tour hosted by Ger. Can’t fault it at all.
Thank you for your review. We are very pleased you enjoyed it.
This walking tour was an excellent introduction to Cork. Our host was a wealth of knowledge, bringing the city's history to life with engaging stories and fascinating details that I would have completely missed exploring on my own. The route covered many of Cork's highlights, including St. Patrick's Street, the Crawford Art Gallery, Rory Gallagher Place, the Huguenot Cemetery, Grand Parade, South Mall, and the English Market. Along the way, we learned about Cork's maritime history, architecture, music, commerce, and the remarkable people who helped shape the city. The tour was well paced, entertaining, and informative from beginning to end. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Cork and plenty of ideas for places to revisit during my stay. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city, especially at the beginning of their trip.
Thank you so much for such a comprehensive and positive review. Cork is an amazing place and your experience reflects what we try to achieve every day. Go Raibh Míle Maith Agat (Thank you very much)
