Great learnig and tasting experience, Loved it.
Very interesting tour seeing many of the historical tools used in making the whiskey. Good value including a drink after the tour and the premium tasting was really nicely done with high end whiskey selections. Will definitely recommend to others.
We had a fabulous time. The tour is beautifully laid out, and our guide was friendly, clear, and engaging. We enjoyed learning how the whiskey is made and tasting some exceptional, higher-end whiskeys. We added the luxury tasting afterward, which gave us a more private experience and a chance to explore a bit more. We enjoyed it, though I think the upgraded tour and tasting would be plenty on its own. Everything was lovely.
The experience is first class and a must if visiting Ireland. The history is amazing as is the fact that Midleton Distillery has maintained all of the historic buildings and tour. The tour guide knew his history and communicated it clearly. I thoroughly enjoyed the tasting associated with the tour. I then stayed around at the Midleton Bar and sampled some of the rare releases I've read about. I was blown away and must say that they were worth the cost of the pour. I would go back again the next time I visit Ireland.
I have had a wonderful experience, from booking to visit. It started with me realising I booked for the wrong date. A customer service representative had no problem changing the date, even though the original date had been and gone. I was so grateful for that. On the day, we got a great welcome. Our tour guide Niamh was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The grounds are beautiful. The whiskey tasting was worth the extra money. And I am not even a whiskey drinker! I highly recommend
Don't miss it. An authentic Irish immersion. Worth repeating.
We had a great time touring the distillery with Eoin. He was knowledgeable and also shared some great stories! Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed the tour; our guide, Kevin, was very knowledgeable. Great look at the history of whiskey-making in Ireland, as well as how it is made today. Topped off with a tasting. Wonderful time.
I (as a whiskey newbie) found it very interesting.
The guided visit is only in English. Is logical, but I suggest you to consider to offer to the visitors audioguides for not English speakers. The visit would be more profitable.
