It is a nice experience but it was very short (not the 30-minute ride as promise). The gondola rider was not attentive.
Really great experience. Good amount of time, kind and friendly staff. Will do again and book with this company, the gondola was sleek and comfortable as well.
Fantastic experience. Gondolier was amazing Treasured memory for us on our last evening in beautiful Venice.

A pleasant gondola ride. However, the gondolier didn't provide commentary on the canals we passed through, which was a bit of a shame.

Had a difficult time getting to you on time. Therefore we missed our ride with no offer of compensation. Fine. One thing that made it difficult was knowing where you were located BEFORE booked. That would have been helpful. Also, shared was in small print.
Was a short trip around the block and not a guided tour as described. We also started 5 minutes late and finished 5 minutes early. Was a nice thing to do whilst in Venice but wouldn’t necessarily recommend to someone else.

Nice exposure to classic Venice activity. Canals are very narrow so the ability of the drivers to navigate them was impressive.
The meeting point was easy to find & we collected our tickets with no issues. As a group of five, we fitted in one gondola. It was a lovely peaceful ride through the smaller canals & our gondolier shared a small amount of information. Whilst we did enter the Grand Canal, the starting point is nowhere near the ‘main part’ so there was no view of the Rialto Bridge. This didn’t matter to us as we’d already visited there, but if that’s important then pick one closer to that area. There are rides available all over the city so booking in advance was not really necessary and I felt had cost us significantly more to pay for 5 tickets rather than hire one shared gondola.
This may be the typical experience in Venice during the crowded summer season. The ride is 30 minutes of slow going with lots of company (gondolas practically touching each other the entire time). The people are nice but they tried to stretch it out with a virtual reality experience for which half the headsets did not work and taking a walk through crowded streets before boarding your gondola. If you have less than 4 people it also will be a shared ride with strangers.
Sorry to give a poor rating. I missed my gondola ride because my flight was 2 hours late. It was impossible to catch up. I tried to get to the ticket office at 1930 cuz that is when I can get there but the office was close so I guess I lost my money and the experience. I tried to book the next day but the timing is not right. So I guess it is not meant to be at this time.
