Mario was a good teacher! He had the supplies ready when I arrived. I enjoyed the class very much. The skills I learned I will try at home!

Book this class! You will not be disappointed. My sister and I attended this class and it was one of the best things we did in Lecce. Our class was at the Jewish Museum. We were the only two in the class. Our teacher was so WONDERFUL! She spoke very little English, but not a problem. We had a precious young interpreter. We laughed and had the best time throughout the class. We made a small paper mache bouquet, and several single stemmed flowers. We took them with us and let them air dry for at least two days before we packed them and headed to Rome. If you choose this class I would suggest attending soon after arriving in Lecce so your flowers have time to dry well before you have to pack them. They did not get damaged in our suitcases as they are somewhat pliable until they are painted and glossed.

We had a wonderful learning experience. The artist was knowledgeable and since she spoke Italian a translator was with us as requested, he too, was very good. It was a fun time, we got to work on a small project to take home. And it sparked some creative ideas to try at home.
