Jour 2 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram Matin : Visite des temples Ekambareswarar et Kailasanathar à Kanchipuram. Route vers Mahabalipuram, installation à l'hôtel. Nuit à Mahabalipuram.
Jour 3 : Mahabalipuram Explorez les sites classés à l'UNESCO : le temple du rivage, les cinq Rathas, la pénitence d'Arjuna, la boule de beurre de Krishna. Nuit à Mahabalipuram.
Jour 4 : Mahabalipuram - Pondichéry Départ pour Pondichéry, installation à l'hôtel. Visite de l'après-midi : ashram de Sri Aurobindo, église du Sacré-Cœur, Notre-Dame des Anges. Promenade en pousse-pousse le soir à travers les colonies françaises. Nuit à Pondichéry.
Jour 5 : Pondichéry - Gangaikonda Cholapuram - Darasuram - Thanjavur Départ pour Thanjavur ; visite des temples de Gangaikonda Cholapuram et de Darasuram. Installation et repos à Thanjavur. Nuit à Thanjavur.
Jour 6 : Thanjavur - Trichy Matinée : Galerie d'art de Thanjavur, bibliothèque Saraswati Mahal, temple Brihadeeswara. Route vers Trichy ; visite du temple Sri Ranganathaswamy et du temple Rockfort Uchchipillayar. Nuit à Trichy.
Jour 7 : Thanjavur - Chettinad Départ pour Chettinad, découverte des demeures et de l'artisanat local. Nuit à Chettinad.
Jour 8 : Chettinad - Madurai Départ pour Madurai ; visite du palais Thirumalai Nayaka et du temple Meenakshi Amman. Nuit à Madurai.
Jour 9 : Madurai - Thekkady Départ pour Thekkady, balade en bateau et visite des plantations d'épices. Nuit à Thekkady.
Jour 10 : Visite de la faune de Thekkady : trekking, safari en jeep, balade en éléphant et spectacle Kalaripayattu. Nuit à Thekkady.
Jour 11 : Thekkady - Péniche Alleppey Conduisez jusqu'à Alleppey et embarquez pour une croisière en bateau. Profitez du déjeuner et du dîner à bord de la péniche. Nuit à bord de la péniche.
Jour 12 : Alleppey - Kochi Départ pour Kochi, visite de l'église Saint-François, de la basilique Santa Cruz et des filets de pêche chinois. Nuit à Kochi.
Jour 13 : Visite de Kochi Palais de Mattancherry, synagogue juive, Marine Drive. Spectacle de danse Kathakali en soirée. Nuit à Kochi.
Jour 14 : Départ de Kochi Transfert à l'aéroport international de Cochin pour votre vol de retour.

We went on a week’s tour of South India visiting Chennai, Pondecherry, Velankanni, Munnar and Kochi with Wonder Tours. Extensive discussions took place upfront with Rajesh, who had great ideas and was very helpful in finalising our itinerary. He was also very flexible when minor changes needed to happen. We were driven in a Toyota Innova, which was very comfortable. Both drivers, Dhandabani and Senthilkumar, were very experienced and safe drivers as well as very pleasant. In each city Rajesh arranged experienced local guides. We would certainly recommend Wonder Tours.
