Chocolate Tour Basic : Auto-chauffeurs sans déjeuner
Description
C'est une combinaison d'attractions! Tout d'abord, le Chocolate Tour commence par le contexte culturel et biologique du cacao dans le monde et ici au Costa Rica. Il vous initie davantage à la collecte, la fermentation, le broyage et enfin la fabrication du chocolat, la boisson des dieux. Deuxièmement, nous parlons du café et de son importance pour le développement économique et culturel du Costa Rica. Nous allons vous montrer comment faire Café-Chorreado, la véritable pratique costaricienne de la préparation du café. Enfin, nous examinerons l'un des aspects les plus importants de la culture et de la tradition costariciennes, la Trapiche. Ici, nous broyons la canne à sucre pour en extraire le jus et faire tous les types de bonbons locaux et délicieux (Dulce, Sobado, Espumas et Miel). C'est certainement la visite la plus douce de la région. Nous sommes dans une jungle privée-préserver à seulement 15 minutes de Manuel Antonio. La présence d'animaux sauvages comme les paresseux, les singes, les oiseaux et les grenouilles est fréquente. Soyez prêt à tout.

Brian was amazing! We learned all about cacao and how it’s grown and processed to make nibs which are then used to make chocolate. We got to try out different types of cacao and had coffee and refreshing drinks as well. I highly recommend this tour. Plus, you really don’t need to bring anything at all.

We didn't expect too much and were definitely positively surprised. You learn a lot and can say that there was also some sneezing knowledge with which we did not necessarily expect. Cost samples were of course also , we liked very much.

One of the best rides I've ever had in the country! Greg, our Francophone guide, is so passionate! All the explanations of cocoa are top and very well explained. You can also see, vanilla, turmeric, lemongrass .. we enjoy good coffee and also a small drink '' not pricked worms'' with sugar cane. Chocolate with fresh fruit and spices is obviously tasted. The tour was great! It was very informative and covered more than just coffee and chocolate. We got to see vanilla plants, cinnamon, ginger, and tumeric, and learned about the in’s and out’s of chocolate coffee production. Our guide was wonderful.

This tour was one of the top two experiences of our trip. If you are into coffee or chocolate this is a must-do! First, to add or not add the transportation. We had a car and driving there was not that difficult, but it is secluded. Tour Operator gave us the Waze link for directions and we had no trouble. The guide, Juan, was especially personable and informative, a definite asset to the touring experience. His passion for nature was clear. We learned the entire coffee making process from seed to drink and also the chocolate process included a mouth watering bowl of bananas/pineapple with chocolate made on premise. This tour was one of my husbands favorite activities while in Costa Rica.
