Chichen Itza by Van : Groupe Réduit, Guide Touristique, Voyage Rapide & Déjeuner

The drive is long but that's just part of the adventure. It was two+ hours one-way in a 15-passenger van, so four hours of riding for a two hour tour. It worked for our budget this time, however, if we were to return in the future, we would probably pay more for a private tour to have more room on the drive and not have to stop to pick up other guests. It was neat being with other guests, though! Our tour included folks from Germany, Vietnam, Canada, and the USA. Our tour guide was very polite and gave us all the details we needed. It was interesting hearing about the history of the ruins! We just wish we'd had a little more time to explore on our own after the first half with our guide. We realized too late that there was a trail on the side with all the columns that would take you to more ruins to explore! We knew ahead of time that there would be vendors along the entrance but didn't realize just how many would be around the entire place! I'm naturally friendly and hated having to ignore people as I walked by but that was the best way to reduce the amount of times people were hounding us to sell their products. All-in-all, we enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend using this company!

Prompt pick up and explanation of how pick up time works. We were looking for a short visit to Chichén itzá and this tour was perfect for us

Our trip was well worth it and it was amazing to visit this incredible historical site. We were picked up from our resort which was so convenient and our tour guide, Rafael, was so knowledgeable and charismatic. We learned so much! And Eleazar our driver was very safe and efficient.

Perfect day. Picked up outside the hotel bang on time by Julio and Ana. Given water and a bite to eat. Stop off on the way for the bathroom and option of more refreshments. Ana gave an intro to Chichen Itza both verbally and visual on the tv that we had in the minibus. Ana came across as very knowledgeable about the site and culture. We got there in god time before the crowds and the heat. Straight in and the guided tour by Ana started straightaway. We spent over an hour with Ana on the main site then had an hour or so looking g around the rest of it and viewing the vendors stalls. Upon return to the minibus, we were given a cold flannel to cool us then a sandwich and cold drink (water and beer). Ana continued to talk about the Mayan culture and other sites. Thank you

Very good! Even though they arrived 15 minutes late from the agreed time, it was still super!!! I loved it; Víctor (the guide) and Falcón (the driver) were very attentive, always offering drinks. They told us the stops they had to make. Nothing was a surprise since they communicated everything. They had cold drinks and cold towels after seeing Chichen Itza. I loved it, honestly! The guide Victor answered any question we had.

The one who was driving was named Falcón and the tour was named Víctor. Both were very good! Super friendly! Víctor explained everything about the Mayan culture to us and answered any question we had. The car had air conditioning and they always asked us if we needed something to drink. The drinks were very cold. I didn't want the sandwich because I don't like ham, but my husband loved it; he says the sauce it had was very tasty and the sandwich was fresh.

Ricardo, the guide was simply amazing providing us with very useful and interesting historical facts. I found the tour overestimated though. 240 us dollars I think it's too much . Nevertheless the guide was superb and it was an overall wonderful experience.

Shame about the entrance fees overcharge. Otherwise I would have given this tour a better rating. Our tour guide David was excellent. But everyone else on our bus was charged $35 entrance fees and we were charged $50. The entrance fees was $35 as per the amount shown on the ticket. This operator has scammed us. Book elsewhere where they don’t take a big cut of the entrance fees.

The trip was perfect. Miguel was our captain and got us to both locations effectively and quickly. Ricardo was our tour guide and he was personable, intelligent, and overall amazing. The tour was fantastic and Chichen Itza was fabulous. The cenote swim was incredibly fun and unique. The lunch was excellent. The group size was perfect for the trip and overall the experience was amazing.

Carlos did a fine job driving. Ana was the main attraction! She definitely knows all there is to know about the ancient Mayan civilization. She explained in great detail, all there was to know about the history of the Mayans, Chichen Itza, the temples/architecture. She was by far the best tour guide we could have ended up with!
