My wife and 9yr son planned an excursion to visit the ruins in Tulum, climb the Coba pyramid and then jump into one of the thousands of cenotes in the Yucatan peninsula, Mexico. Little did we know that our experience was going to be greatly heighten by our most humble, passionate and extremely knowledgeable guide Mundo who spoke both Spanish and English (sometimes accidentally French) to explain what we were looking at. My family and 7 other people were led strategically through the ruins of Tulum and our guide, Mundo consistently pointed out facts and interests that correlated to the present and ancient Mayan symbology. I felt like I was on an episode of Ancient Aliens!! The passion and energy Mundo has for the Mayan culture is obvious and his love of the subject created such an addicting interests to our group that even people from other guided tours were noticeably coming over into our group to hear what he had to say. I have to point out that he was NEVER overbearing or cringe worthy with anything he said but a very knowledgeable and intelligent person. After Tulum, we were driven to Coba, an ancient Mayan ruin that guest are able to climb. We had all rented bikes to travel the 1+ mile path that led to the pyramid but soon ran into a monsoon of rain that didn't let up and were unable to traverse the many steps that led to the peak of the pyramid. We got our soaking wet family pics then headed back to our meeting place with Mundo where the rain had slowed down and stopped. We then headed over to Cenote Kuxtal. Our group then went through a ritual cleanse and request to nature of entrance to the cenote done by an old Mayan Shaman that took about 3min. The atmosphere was spiritually moving. The sound of the conch and wooden block, not to mention the background thunder was very moving. After the cleanse our group ate and walked down the stairs with the lifejackets provided and slipped into the cenote whose waters were cold but pleasant. While in the cenote, I even got a few pics of a Motmot bird that had arrived and had read about the day before going on this experience. Truly Amazing!! Our group was asked to exit the premise before 5pm so we left and my family and I were dropped off at our resort. Mundo gifted my family and I a picture document of the Mayan tree of life diagram he used in many of his past guided tours. The adventure was amazing and though I may never see Mundo ever again, he amplified the experience! Gracias me Amigo.
Driver and guide, Edmundo, were phenomenal. Edmundo was full of knowledge and kept the tour interesting, enough to have my 9 year old pay attention. Felt completely comfortable and safe. Timing at each location was just right

The tour was really good thank you Rafa and Miguel !!!
Thanks to the company and the guidance of Ilse and Alex, my family and I had an unforgettable day. We visited a cenote, an indigenous cultural destination, Chichen Itza, and Valladolid. We learned history and had a great time. I hope to return for a tour with them in the future, and I recommend it 100%.
We took this tour on our first day of vacation in the Mexican Caribbean. They came to pick us up in the morning and took us to the cenote where we could swim for an hour. Afterward, we went to the Mayan reserve where we had a ceremony with a shaman and enjoyed the Mayan artworks made of obsidian. We had an included buffet and a tequila tasting. We continued the day towards Chichén Itzá. It was incredible to see it with our own eyes. We ended the day in the charming city of Valladolid. We learned a lot about the Mayans thanks to our guide Rafa! Everything was amazing, and I would recommend it.
