Vous profiterez d'un voyage en voiture à partir de Chiang Mai et de voir la belle campagne du nord de la Thaïlande avec des communautés locales au bord de la route, des rizières, des terres agricoles, des montagnes, une source chaude avec pause café et ainsi de suite. Le Wat Rong Khun est le meilleur point culminant de Chiangrai, fondé en 1997 par l'artiste le plus célèbre de Thaïlande appelé Chalermchai Kositpipat. Il s'agit d'un temple unique qui se distingue par sa couleur blanche et l'utilisation de morceaux de verre dans le plâtre, étincelants au soleil. La couleur blanche signifie la pureté du Bouddha et l'architecture du temple combine le design moderne thaïlandais et Lanna Thai qui symbolise le paradis bouddhiste.
Le Triangle d'Or est la frontière de 3 pays réunis ; La Thaïlande, le Myanmar et le Laos, au même endroit. Il se trouve à 9 kilomètres au nord de Chiang Saen, le long de la route longeant le Mékong. Sop Ruak est l'endroit où le Mékong, frontière entre la Thaïlande et le Laos, rencontre le fleuve Ruak, frontière entre la Thaïlande et le Myanmar. Dans le passé, le Triangle d'Or était la principale source mondiale de trafic de drogue en raison de sa situation privilégiée, rattachée à de nombreux pays. Cependant, il est actuellement bien entretenu et devient une attraction touristique populaire. Du point de vue, les touristes découvriront la terre qui relie les trois pays, entourée du long et calme fleuve Mae Kong.
La construction du temple a été initiée par la communauté locale en 1996 pour remplacer un vieux temple abandonné qui se trouvait auparavant sur le site, bien que la construction n'ait commencé qu'en 2005. Sa conception finale a été réalisée par l'artiste local appelé Sala Nok. Wat Rong Suea Ten se traduit par « Maison du tigre dansant ». Le temple doit son nom aux tigres qui parcouraient autrefois la région. L'image du Bouddha dans la chapelle mesure plus de six mètres de haut et date de 2008. Elle s'appelle Bouddha Rajamongkol Bodhi Trilokanat.
Wat Huay Pla Kang a été fondée en 2005, conçue par un véritable visionnaire, ce qui explique son style inhabituel connu pour son architecture unique, construite dans le style chinois-Lanna. Le temple a trois lieux principaux à découvrir tels que ; - La statue de Guanyin est l'une des principales attractions, appelée à tort la Grande Dame Bouddha, Guan Yin était la légende de la « déesse bouddhiste » dont elle est une divinité importante dans l'école bouddhiste Mahayana. Dans cette partie, nous pouvons prendre l'ascenseur jusqu'au sommet de la statue au 25-26ème étage et admirer la vue sur Chiang Rai depuis la tête de la statue de Guanyin.
La source chaude de Mae Khachan se trouve à mi-chemin de Chiangmai à Chiangrai, entourée de montagnes, classée parmi les meilleures sources chaudes du nord et offrant non seulement une vue merveilleusement naturelle sur le nord, mais aussi de nombreux sites intéressants à l'intérieur desquels attirer les visiteurs thaïlandais et étrangers. Il y a une belle eau minérale pour tremper les pieds dans son jardin pour se détendre, et le voyageur peut également acheter des œufs de poule à faire bouillir dans l'eau chaude naturelle et prendre un bon café des hautes terres de Chiangrai.

It was a long 13-hour day, but a truly memorable experience! Our guide, M, was excellent. He drove safely, kept the car spotless and well air-conditioned, and provided us with cold water and tasty local snacks throughout our journey. He also regularly checked in to see if we needed bathroom or stretch breaks, which made the long drives much more manageable. Our first stop was the Thaweesin Chiang Rai Hot Springs. We got the opportunity to soak our feet in the warm thermal water which was very relaxing. Every now and then a straight stream of water would shoot up in the air by the entrance to this place, a chance to take an awesome photo! Be sure to visit the roti food stand where the owner will make fresh roti with all sorts of fillings. We shared the banana roti which tasted amazing! The temples were stunning, especially the Blue Temple, which was our favorite of the day. The boat ride on the Mekong River was a fun and unique experience. Although the Laos border was closed that day and we couldn’t cross over, we still really enjoyed learning about the Golden Triangle’s history and seeing the point where three countries meet. M our tour guide took lots of fantastic photos of us, a perk of choosing a private guide over a public one. You can ask as many questions as you want and the pace is yours only. Overall, we’re glad we did the tour, but it’s definitely a long haul. If you have the time, we’d recommend spreading it out over two days for a more relaxed pace. Still, it was a fantastic way to see some of Northern Thailand’s most iconic landmarks in a single trip.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with Mr. Big on 2/7/25. Picked us up at hotel, drove to all destinations while chatting with us in learning more about Thailand. He took us around the popular temples in bypassing the tour bus crowds while taking our pictures which looked professional. The boat ride to Golden Triangle and Laos was exceptional, having beer and exploring the market with its different knockoff items. Was a very long day that ended 13 hours after it started. I highly recommend Mr. Big for your tour guide to ask for. A good guide!!

John was my fabulous guide. He was like a walking encyclopedia with lots of information. He was patient, a great photographer, cab driver, and humorous. The tour is one of the highlights of my trip . The WHITE temple was gorgeous! Ask for John if possible.
