A wonderful experience.

Every step from entering the door to guiding you to the room was elegant and comfortable, with the right temperature, fresh air and a faint lemongrass smell. Massage options are available in many details and overall are mind-blowing There'll be an end snack and a drink when it's over. Overall, very recommended! Satisfying and exceeding expectations every step of the way!

Thailand Wheelchair Travel

I haven’t seen the writings of people who have travelled in wheelchairs yet, so I’ll touch on it a bit. I have travelled to Thailand pushing my wife's wheelchair four times in several years, including in February this year. It's easier to get to and from Bangkok than at Japanese airports. Leave your wheelchair at the departure airport counter, the staff will push it to you at the airport terminal, and the staff will help you with baggage screening/exit control. The attendants will leave when you arrive near the gate or lounge, but they will push your wheelchair to the door of the plane that comes before you board. When you arrive at the destination airport, a wheelchair is waiting in front of the airplane door, and the attendant will help you with immigration and baggage collection. After a short wait, the attendant will bring your wheelchair from another pickup area. The staff will help you to the taxi stand, so it is easier than traveling on the bullet train in Japan. Although it is in Bangkok, it is basically very inconvenient to move around in a wheelchair. Footpaths are often uneven, possibly due to subsidence, and there are large steps at the point where the footpath intersects the roadway, so you need to get off the wheelchair and get over it. However, there are some exceptions, such as the passages around Siam Station and Phrom Phong Station that connect shopping centers under BTS (Elevated Railway) tracks and nearer to the ticket gate level, to make wheelchair movement more comfortable. I remember the area around the Iconium being fine. I once stayed in a hotel about 400m away trying to get to Asiatique. The footpath from the hotel was wide and convenient at first glance, but the steps at the intersection with the roadway were so large that I had to travel by taxi or other means. I went to Phuket this time. I bought a return Phuket ticket with a certain Airline reservation. The Bangkok/Phuket round trip was in the form of a codeshare flight with Bangkok Airways. After a while, I received a call from that reservation saying that I would not be allowed to check in my wheelchair on a codeshare flight. I was forced to cancel my codeshare and purchased a ticket on the Bangkok Airways site. I am convinced that this was a mistake by a certain airline and I am now seeking answers. You must confirm the availability of wheelchairs before purchasing a ticket that includes a codeshare flight. You must also request wheelchair-related assistance from Bangkok Airways at least two days prior to boarding. The e-mail for their bookings often takes more than 10 days to process and it seems reasonable to call or request a CHAT for a Bangkok booking. CHAT seems to have surprisingly low wait times, often about five minutes. We searched for rooms with ocean views at a hotel in Phuket, but we decided that a few of the hotels on the cliffs and others with full stairways and ramps were not suitable for wheelchairs, so we decided on Paton Beach Hotel See2Sea . The room with the ocean view is somewhat unsuitable for wheelchairs, so they upgraded it to a special room for wheelchairs. The busiest street in Phuket, Bangla Road, is accessible to wheelchair users, but there were some slight steps along the coastal road to get there, so I had to get out of my wheelchair and pass.

Great culture experience

The whole experience was very relaxing. They made sure you were comfortable at all times. The ladies giving the massages were very knowledgeable and could read my body and knew how to relax my tight muscles without major pain. If I lived in Chiang Mai, I would be coming here regularly.

Real Thai massage

As a last experience before returning we could not do a traditional Thai massage... I state that I am not a lover of massages but,,,, I had to try it! Here, massage is the focus of the life of Thais who after work get massaged by the many expert hands. In fact, everywhere even on the sides of the streets you will meet rows of armchairs and girls ready to massage you. For hygiene we preferred an indoor center. 2 hours massage at a cost of 15 euros... how not to take advantage? After a quarter of an hour I already wanted to escape... very strong massage but after pointing out that it could lighten the touch the 2 hours flew! essential oils, scented candles and hot stones... I would say great! Thank you!

Relaxing

I had a wonderful experience at Fah Lanna Spa. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, and after the massage, I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea. The entire visit felt very peaceful and soothing. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing and professional spa in Chiang Mai!
