Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara Wat Chedi Luang, ce temple est le site d'une énorme pagode, à l'origine 280 pieds de haut, et qui a été partiellement détruite par un tremblement de terre en 1545. À une certaine époque, Wat Chedi Luang abritait l'image vénérée du Bouddha Emerlad maintenant inscrite dans Wat Phra Kaew à Bangkok. L'une des caractéristiques architecturales les plus frappantes de Wat Chedi Luang est un magnifique escalier Naga qui orne le devant de la chapelle.
Wat Doi Suthep C'est un immense complexe de temples avec un plaisir visuel à chaque fois que vous tournez la tête. Il est populaire auprès des bus touristiques, mais attendez que la visite continue et que vous en profitiez. Donnez-vous beaucoup de temps et vous ne serez pas déçu.
Wat Pha Lat Ce temple est l'ancien précurseur (plus bas sur la montagne) que Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Bien qu'un peu moins grandiose que son frère cadet, il est chargé d'histoire, de respect et de paix. Bénéficiant d'une vue magnifique sur la ville de Chang Mai, il est construit sur un ruisseau avec une série de cascades. Un endroit formidable pour la méditation ou la simple réflexion. Aller!!
Tha Phae Gate Romantique, beau, enchanteur - ce sont les trois mots que je pourrais résumer en faisant l'expérience de l'une des portes historiques de Chiang Mai - la porte Tha Phae. Lorsque la ville a été fondée par le roi Mangrai en 1296, ces portes ainsi que d'autres portes (Chang Puak, Chiang Mai, Pratu Soan Dok) protègent la vieille ville. La porte de Tha Phae se trouve à l'est de la ville et est faite de briques rouges Terminez votre excursion d'une demi-journée par le retour à votre hôtel à Chiang Mai.

over priced, for 1 major attraction and 2 minor. mostly a transport service although Sarah was very nice.

Chiang Mai city tour with guide Ooh was a wonderful experience! The Doi Sethep tour was a great way to see and understand Thailand’s Buddhist culture Ooh is a great tour guide and helps explain the sights at these locations

Guide & driver arrived on time ready for our half day tour. Som (guide) spoke good English & was very knowledgeable. The 3 temples we visited were very different & we enjoyed them all. Our favourite was Wat Pha Lot, it was a hidden gem & so tranquil.
The tour was OK. Guide not bad. But the guide and the driver - two ladies were talking too much in Thai continuously. They can talk but better to find time to explain about the places that we were driving through and a bit about the nature, and lifestyle of people or area.
Wonderful tour of three major temples, one in old town Chiang Mai and two on the mountain. Ooh, our guide was great at providing the background on the temples, Buddhism, and Buddhist monks. She used personal history to provide an understanding of a Thai family's connection to Buddhism. Our favorite was Wat Pha Lat which is on the mountain and very serene with a stream and small waterfalls. Travel is by air conditioned van. Trip to the mountain offered a view of the city of Chiang Mai outside the old town
Great tour. Only my wife and I. The two mountain temples were spectacular. Only in Chiangmai for 2 days so great introduction. Nearly 5 star
Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had but provided so much information, I don’t know how she remembers so much!. The heat of the day was a little too hot so I would recommend doing it in the evening or first thing in the morning and bring a hat. I learned so much about Buddhism and specifically how it is different in Thailand to other countries, and much history of Thailand as well. Thank you so much to our guide, would Highly recommend anyone to do this tour!!!
The city tour kicked off with a visit to the Tha Phae Gate where we all did the catwalk among the pigeons. This was followed by visit to the impressive Wat Chedi Luang. We then left the city and drove up to the hills. The serenity of Wat Pha Lat and the splendour of Doi Suthep were simply amazing. Our guide, Panni, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were very impressed with how clean every place we visited was despite the crowds.
