Notre visite commence à partir de votre logement, et nous nous dirigeons vers la Serbie occidentale, connue pour sa nature sauvage et intacte, sa cuisine savoureuse et ses gens sympathiques et hospitaliers. Deux heures et demie de route, nous passerons à profiter des magnifiques paysages et à écouter des histoires intéressantes sur cette partie du pays.
Après une balade relaxante, nous arriverons juste à temps pour le départ du célèbre train panoramique Šargan Eight. Un chemin de fer unique à voie étroite ne sert aujourd'hui qu'à l'amusement. Nous nous arrêterons à plusieurs points de vue pendant notre trajet, d'où vous pourrez profiter de vues fabuleuses sur Mokra Gora. Des voitures authentiques avec des sièges en bois, des poêles à bois et des bruits de cliquetis caractéristiques nous transporteront en 1925, lorsque ce chemin de fer a été mis en service, établissant une connexion entre Belgrade et la mer Adriatique.
Après 1h30 de trajet, nous retournons à la gare de départ, où nous continuons notre voyage jusqu'à la Mećavnik voisine, également connue sous le nom de Drvengrad (ville en bois). Le célèbre réalisateur Emir Kusturica, double Palme d’or à Cannes, a décidé de la construire lors du tournage de son film « La vie est un miracle ». Il choisit de transporter des chalets en bois en ruine des pentes de la montagne, de les restaurer et de les équiper d’installations luxueuses pour former une nouvelle colonie. Ici, nous ferons une halte pour déguster un déjeuner traditionnel composé de spécialités de la cuisine réputée de Serbie occidentale, irrésistiblement délicieuses et piquantes (non incluses). Après le repas, nous aurons du temps libre pour nous détendre, puis continuerons notre visite.
Peu après, nous arriverons à notre prochaine étape, Bajina Bašta, une petite ville dans les contreforts du mont Tara. Ici, nous verrons l’attraction mondialement connue, « The House on the Drina », une cabane en rondins isolée située sur une pierre de rivière. Une photographie de la structure a été présentée dans la « Photo du jour » du National Geographic, et peu de temps après, ce charmant endroit est devenu l’un des sites les plus photographiés des Balkans.
Notre dernier arrêt pour la journée est l’un des points de vue les plus célèbres de la région, « Kapija Podrinja ». De là, vous pourrez profiter d'une vue imprenable sur les montagnes environnantes.
Enfin, nous rentrerons chez nous, en parcourant la nature vierge des montagnes de Povlen. Après une balade d'environ deux heures et demie, dont un arrêt, nous arriverons à Belgrade dans l'après-midi. Déposez à vos hôtels. Fin des services.

Un jour avant le voyage, pas avant 18 heures, nous vous enverrons un email avec tous les détails de la prise en charge. Si vous avez réservé l'option visite privée, l'heure de départ par défaut est 9 : 30. Si vous souhaitez une heure de départ différente, veuillez nous contacter pour nous communiquer votre heure de départ préférée. La prise en charge est possible depuis n'importe quel hôtel, Airbnb, ou hôtel situé dans un rayon de 5 km autour de la place de la République. Pour les points de retrait à plus de 5 km de la place de la République, veuillez nous contacter directement. Note importante : Selon les conditions de circulation, l'emplacement de votre hôtel/Airbnb, le nombre et la position des lieux de prise en charge le jour de votre voyage, nous pouvons vous demander de marcher jusqu'au point de prise en charge le plus proche (jamais à plus de 7 à 8 minutes à pied de l'endroit où vous séjournez). Si vous souhaitez commencer votre visite à l'aéroport de Belgrade, vous pouvez le faire avec un supplément de 15€ (disponible uniquement sur les visites privées).

Urus our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining giving lots of local insight during the lengthy drive. The trip was close to 12 hours and to be honest is quite a long time in a minivan for what you see. The mountain railway is entertaining enough but not that spectacular if you have been on similar journeys say in the alps. The wooden village was interesting but again not really worth a trip all the way from Belgrade in our opinion. To be clear, I’m not complaining because the tour was exactly as described with an excellent guide. We stoped for lunch at a local restaurant beside the last stop on the railway, the food was basic but well prepared and inexpensive. The house in the river is a nice novelty sight and the mountain view point at 1400m on the journey back was very impressive. Overall a well organised trip and good value for money however I’d save these attractions for when you are in the area rather than make a special effort from Belgrade.

Had the pleasure to explore Serbia western region with Victor Tours (the operator offering this tour) and everything went smooth. Our operator Marko was definitely prepared about the whole historic and cultural backgrounds of the places we stopped at. The small group I took the tour with was composed by young guys like me and this helped a lot to have something to talk about and share since the trip is quite long even by car. The train ride was fun and the landscapes it allowed me to see were the cherry on top. The guide also let us decide if we wanted to stay longer for photos at Wooden Town or rather move to Drina House and lunch around there. The whole experience has been absolutely great, from the pickup to the end and we arrived just in time for Belgrade sunset, which I value as an extra pro to recommend this tour.

Marko was our tour guide and driver and he was fantastic! Highly recommend this tour if you want an easy tour to check out some really cool sites. The train was pretty cool, but I didn’t love the seat assignments as it was free for all and people like to save their seats. But please note you can walk the cabins and find any empty seats you want!
Long day but great sites - Sarah train, the wooden house, the views along the way. The river house - in the eve, you can’t view it clearly as you look straight in to the sun. Could be due to the time of the year.

This trip is highly recommended, Jovan is a fantastic guide that for the day trip. The drive is long but he makes it fun, in between the time that he introduces the places he has a good song list to play. If u have a day to spend this is a must do trip.

Very good trip, fantastic scenery. The railway trip is the highlight. Lunch in the wooden village restaurant is very good & reasonabky priced. It is a long day.
Small group but great fun with Alex and Marco. Full of information jokes stories and we all got along great The tour was informative and in a comfy van, loads of room The train trip went through the countryside and offered great views as did all the other attractions

It was a veey good trip with lively Jovan he has immense knowledge and was caring and friendly. He kept us entertained all the way to mountains and drove safely Train ride was good but views are not rhat impressive. Wooden town and lucnh was amazing and also the tara mountain and driana river was fascinating

This is the most underrated tour in Belgrade. I went with Jovan and he was a great tour guide and great driver. The train ride was very interesting with a few stops for photos. (I recommend the lady selling cheese pastries at the train station). Next is the wooden mountain town of a film director. Which I'd never heard of but was very unique experience. Lastly, we ate lunch at the drina river in front of the little house food was great. A long day but worth it. Do this trip.
