Osaka was an amazing driver and helpful on educational questions we had along the way. He handed us off to another tour guide while in Chefchouen and he was also great.
Thank you very much for your kind review! 😊 We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your day trip to Chefchaouen and that Oussama made your journey comfortable and informative. Our goal is always to provide our guests with a memorable and authentic experience, and we’re glad you also enjoyed the local guided tour in the Blue City. Thank you again for choosing Morocco Spartar Tour. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Morocco in the future!
We enjoyed the tour to Chefchaouen. Our driver Youssef met us at our hotel and drove us. He is a safe driver and answered all our questions. Our guide Noman met us there and showed us around. He was very knowledgable about the place. The only thing that we did not like was that he stopped to talk to everyone he ran across as we toured which we thought was a little unprofessional. At one point , he was on the phone talking to someone for a few minutes while we had to wait for him to finish. Also, he told us the Kasbah was not worth touring since all the artifact there have been moved to a museum, so I'm not sure why it was listed on the itenary? Other than that we had like the tour.
The tour guide was courteous, knowledgeable, and very understanding when our 2 year old was upset and tired. The lunch wasn’t 3 courses, but the restaurant was accommodating when we needed fruit. We ordered the vegetable couscous for my wife who is vegetarian and chicken was buried underneath the couscous.
Dont pass up the chance to visit Chefchaouen if you're visiting Tangier. It's a beautiful town sitting at the base of twin peaks with an interesting history and super friendly people! This visit was the highlight of our quick weekend visit to Morocco from Spain and inspired us to come back again and see more of what Morocco has to offer. Both our guides were amazing and took great care of us and our 2yr old and made sure that we had a great experience overall. I think it was the best day of Taha's life and he still asks about the next time he gets he'll be able to see his kaka :)
Omar was great ! He was a lot of fun and easy to work with. He didn’t mind stopping for pictures. He was passionate about his home country.
Driver and guide were excellent. These two made the trip worth taking. Very accommodating, although (lol), the tour description said tour included the beautiful waterfalls of Akchour. I didn't say anything during the tour as I thought maybe I mis-read the description. It is there and we didn't see it. As accommodating as our driver was, I am sure we would have gone there had we mentioned it. He did show us many things in and around the city to make it a full day and interesting.
The place is more than beautiful; it is enchanting. The only problem is the overcrowding and the lack of parking space..
Thank you for your kind words about the beauty of the place! We're thrilled that you found it enchanting. However, we understand your frustration with the overcrowding and lack of parking space. Unfortunately, these are challenges we face in such popular destinations, and we share your concerns. We're continuously working to provide the best experience for our clients, despite these limitations. If there's anything else we can assist you with or if you'd like recommendations for quieter times to visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to improve our services.
We were picked up by Yuseff, our driver who did a great job getting us to Chefchaouen and back to Tanger. He was a little quiet but nice and accommodating. We were then handed over to our guide in Chefchaouen, named Norman. He was amazing. He has grown up in the town. He knows everyone. He provided history, food tasting, and tried hard to create a great experience. He is very energetic and funny. When it came time to us to go to waterfall, it became apparent that Viator did not describe the waterfall part of the trip very well. Apparently we would need to hike for about 45 minutes to the waterfall. We love hiking. However nowhere on the description did it say we would hike or should wear clothing and shoes appropriate for a hike. I do not think it would of been a strenuous hike but we still did not have the correct shoes on for this part. Norman felt horrible and extended our time in Chefchaouen with more history and amazing views. He did an awesome job.
Very beautiful place, atypical for its blue color…its small streets, its peaceful atmosphere…highly recommended and its surroundings
Eating lunch and looking at the mountains, watching the man soldering the spice cups. Numan was a super guide showing us his favorite cookies and the village baker
