Votre prise en charge se fera depuis le port de Katakolon ou directement à la réception de votre hôtel. Le trajet jusqu'à Olympie dure environ 45 minutes.
Vous aurez environ 2 heures et 30 minutes de temps libre à passer à Olympie. Lors de votre visite de l'ancienne Olympie, vous pourrez explorer le site des premiers Jeux Olympiques et le musée de l'ancienne Olympie, où vous pourrez admirer une remarquable collection d'objets anciens (un supplément de 180 € s'applique pour une visite guidée. Le Guide doit être demandé au moment de la réservation et sous réserve de disponibilité). Sinon, vous pouvez explorer la ville moderne d'Olympia, où vous pourrez parcourir les boutiques de souvenirs traditionnelles, vous détendre dans l'un des cafés locaux ou déguster une cuisine méditerranéenne authentique dans l'une des charmantes tavernes.
À l'heure convenue, rendez-vous avec votre chauffeur au point désigné à Olympie pour votre voyage de retour. Votre chauffeur assurera un dépôt sécurisé soit au port de Katakolon, soit à proximité de votre navire, soit à la réception de votre hôtel.

We contacted Francesco to book transportation from the port to the archaeological site (about 30 minutes away). George guided us on-site and provided us with the main information about Olympia during the trip. We paid €15 per adult and €10 for children. 15€/person from Katakolon To Olympia and back, in time to came back to the cruise. We payd 5€ for the guide and he was very exaustive (he even told us where to eat at low prices). Giorgio is a very intresting guide.

The tour was very informative and organized. But the time we had on the site without the commute was only not enough- only 2 hours 15 minutes. We followed the tour guide for about an hour and then we got free time for around 1 hour and 15 minutes. It's not enough to see both the museum and the archeological site. I wish it was clearly communicated to us beforehand. Apart from that we enjoyed it. There was a photo with the flame arranged by the tour guide at the end.

We would like to clarify that your booking was for the special offer shore excursion (up to 3.5 hours including transportation at €15 per person), and not for the “Private Driver from Katakolon to Ancient Olympia (Self-Guided)” tour, which normally lasts around 5 hours. We do agree that the available free time may not have been enough to fully enjoy both the archaeological site and the museum, and we apologize that this was not clearly communicated in advance.
