Ce jour-là, nous quitterons votre hôtel en direction de la région de Poás de Alajuela, nous ferons un arrêt pour une brève explication sur notre grain d'or, le café où nous nous arrêterons pour voir les caféiers, ayant également l'occasion de prendre une photo de la vallée ventrale et de la plantation de café. Nous continuerons la visite à travers les cultures de fougères, de fleurs et de fraises. .

Ce jour-là, nous quitterons votre hôtel en direction de la région de Poás de Alajuela, nous ferons un arrêt pour une brève explication sur notre grain d'or, le café où nous nous arrêterons pour voir les caféiers, ayant également l'occasion de prendre une photo de la vallée ventrale et de la plantation de café. Nous continuerons la visite à travers les cultures de fougères, de fleurs et de fraises. Nous continuerons notre chemin vers les cascades de La Paz sur le chemin, nous ferons un arrêt pour essayer des fraises fraîches, à notre arrivée, nous marcherons le long d'un beau sentier, qui mène à différentes attractions du parc, y compris la volière, le plus grand observatoire de papillons du pays , la galerie des colibris, le serpentarium, l'exposition des grenouilles, des singes et des chats. Dans ce lieu, un délicieux déjeuner sous forme de buffet nous attend au milieu de la forêt tropicale, à la fin du déjeuner, nous ferons une promenade où nous pourrons visiter trois imposantes cascades naturelles formées par le Rio La Paz lui-même. Il est à noter que cette balade se déroule dans le secteur de la forêt tropicale humide et se compose d'étapes dans certaines parties du parcours.
Notre guide vous expliquera les cultures de la région et, si vous le souhaitez, vous pourrez visiter certains vendeurs de la région, sous réserve de la disponibilité du Tour.

This is a lot of steps but so worth it!!! Wear comfortable shoes and watch your step. I would definitely do it again! I also wouldn't see a need for a guide. Take your time and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
Wonderful place, the shelter is in excellent condition, the whole family really enjoyed learning about the animals that are there. The food at the restaurant was very good. The waterfalls are amazing, quite a sight. Overall the facilities are perfectly maintained, clean and in good condition, something super important when traveling with children. The staff is very friendly, you always feel welcome. But in our tour we have to make a special mention to our guide Mauricio Ulloa, from the pick up he told us about the history of the places we were passing, we had very enjoyable conversations, he was always very attentive to us and giving us the best tips and helping us to take incredible photographs. A highly recommended tour!!!

From our hotel in the heart of San José, it took us a little more than an hour to get to La Paz Waterfalls & Sanctuary. We hired the services of a guide and driver. The site has several points of interest, from the butterfly garden, sloth sanctuary, and so much more. The walk through the falls can be either moderately accessible (shorter in time) to more physically strenuous… all depending if you wish to go up and down to the base of the waterfalls. In any event, it’s worthwhile to take day and join a visit to the POAS National Park 20 minutes away.

We really enjoyed the experience, the beautiful day, the spotless place, very friendly Mauritius and super friendly. I think it is a very complete experience at the level of food, nature and difficulty level. It's for everyone. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide, Frank was absolutely amazing!! He took us on the most magical day ever and made it extra special at each place we went. We learned so much from him about Costa Rica and traded Engilsh and Spanish words with each other. This is my honeymoon and my husband and I are SO happy we found this tour guide! The waterfalls were breathtaking and the animal sanctuary was beautiful. There's a whole butterfly and hummingbird garden too. Buffet lunch was delicious. Hands down one of the best days of my husband and my life! Ask for Frank, he's the best!!

An amazing place, very nice, we saw many animals and amazing vegetation, it has several very nice areas where you can see animals like pelicans, sloth, different types of birds, it has a very nice butterfly and the falls are beautiful as well as throughout the way you see an incredible amount of flora

we did the La Paz waterfall and animal sanctuary tour. the tour was a great time. the views were beautiful, the food was good, and the tour guide Franklin did an amazing job from letting us use an umbrella during the rain to explaining everything about the place and answering any questions we had. Franklin went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.

Beautiful park with several different activities. Butterfly greenhouse, animals (monkeys, jaguar, ocelot...), birds, frogs. beautiful trails that lead to different falls. very beautiful landscape. A little expensive but worth the visit.
