【Gion Lieu】Point de rencontre : GION ORIZURUYA Dans le centre de Gion, à quelques pas du sanctuaire Yasaka et à quelques minutes de marche de Kiyomizu-dera. Le point de départ idéal pour une balade à Kyoto. Situé dans une maison de ville traditionnelle sur une ruelle étroite et sans voiture. Vous verrez un rideau en tissu blanc (Noren) à l'entrée. Une fois à l'intérieur, veuillez fournir votre nom à la réceptionniste.
【Nishiki Market Location】Point de rencontre : Nishiki Orizuruya Cérémonie traditionnelle du thé de la maison de ville par le marché de Nishiki. Une pause culturelle parfaite pour les gourmets et les acheteurs dans le centre de Kyoto. Veuillez entrer dans la maison de ville japonaise traditionnelle "Nishiki Orizuruya". Vous verrez un grand panneau et notre tableau vert "Japan Wonder Travel" à l'entrée. Une fois à l'intérieur, veuillez fournir votre nom à la réceptionniste.
- Vous serez escorté au dressing pour choisir votre kimono préféré à habiller. (UNIQUEMENT au marché de Nishiki Emplacement : Vous pouvez profiter de la découverte de la ville dans votre kimono jusqu'à 18h00 le même jour!) - Profitez d'assister à une démonstration de cérémonie du thé par un maître du thé Anglais. Ensuite, vous apprendrez à faire votre propre Matcha. Faites votre Match avec des bonbons. - Notre photographe professionnel capturera 3 photos commémoratives de vous - Comme souvenir, 3 photos vous seront envoyées numériquement par e-mail après l'expérience.

The experience at the place was wonderful. Unfortunately JapanWonderTravel who is the agency who booked out trip through Viator messed up. 30 min to go they sent a note that they are cancelling and refunding the money. I got on the phone with them and they apologized for cancelling so suddenly. Nothing much we could do. The people at the location squeezed us into another slot. So if JapanWonderTravel is booking you, be careful as they confirmed our modified reservations 2 weeks prior and still messed up 30 min before the event.

Amazing experience! The lovely ladies help dress you in a kimono with the pattern and colors you want. Then you walk over to the tea room and after you have about an hour to walk around the city and take pictures in your outfit.

Whole thing was well organized and did not feel rushed, which I was concerned about based on some others comments. The kimono outfits were great and all looked in great condition. Once changed we had a hand cleansing, then went to the room for the tea ceremony. The ceremony was explained perfectly and all questions answered. My only criticism of the whole thing was the quality of the photos as direct flash was used. But this really did not dampen the event as I took many photos myseff and the staff helped take many photos with my phone of me and my wife. Overall a great memorable experience and definitely recommended.
