Bus Etna Expérience d'Italie

I enjoyed my day up Etna on the bus. The positives were it was easy to book, and staff and driver were friendly. I booked as a last resort as there was no space on the public bus. The bus got us there in one piece - it is not designed for Etna (in rain as we had) due to the open sides and low temperature. I was disappointed by the 10 euro "Etna train" which just went to the places we saw on the bus and to the outside of the crater (which we didn't see) and the gift shop. Perhaps it would be suitable for those with mobility issues but it was a poor use of time for those who would rather be hiking. It was also falsely advertised as a means of seeing the craters. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my day once the train ride finished and I could hike the craters in the limited time left, and I was grateful to have an alternative after I couldn't get on the bus.

A trap for tourists. They know that the main interest of this tour is to get to the central crater of Etna but they do not tell you that the cable car you have to take to get there does not work because of the snow until you arrive at the refuge of La Sapienza. Then, the driver who says that as an alternative we can walk to the crater nearby for free, which I have but only for the residents of the island. If you can't get to the central crater you don't understand the duration of three hours in the restaurant area unless it's to make the money spend. In short, a scam that I obviously do not recommend.

Made the train in Catania that did not show us ANYTHING OF THE HISTORIC CENTER. They told us three words on the cross. Not to mention that on Mount Etna they took us for a ride with the train for € 10.00 without taking us to the craters of Silvestri when I asked them they assured me yes: on the other hand they took us 10 minutes to do a tasting at the Cantoniera house without notifying us. Disappointed. ZERO seriousness

Cheekiness! 3 buses fully driven and then rejected because ticket too old😂Ridiculous organization😂 No accommodation by woman at the counter and 11:40 bus driver! 1 hour lifetime lost, thank you😂

Excellent experience trekking the Mount Etna; good tour guide; two stops in Nicosi heading to the mountain; highly recommended.

Stumbled upon a tourist scam. Paid 35 euros, but... For the cable car that actually leads to the crater of Mount Etna, it's 51 euros more, minimum, because, with the optional 4x4 at the top, it's just the modest amount of 80 euros more to add...!!! So I stayed at the "base"... I still saw some beautiful landscapes, but without fumaroles... 🙄

What a fantastic day out...Our driver was very good and helpful/informative. Pleased he was driving and not me....The weather was good and the views amazing only being able to go as far on cable car (this was extra but worth every penny) due to Mt.Edna movement. Snow topped still. The food very reasonable with nice wine. Great value trip.

Leaving aside means of transport to say the least DIRTY AND RUNDOWN... cheating tourists, moreover Italian As well as not very nice I consider it counterproductive!! Advice!? Look for other companies!!

My daughters and I stayed in Catania for a weekend and chose to take a trip along the coast. The driver, Alfio, proved not only professional, but attentive, helpful and very nice! Thanks Alfio! We will return to this wonderful land also thanks to your kindness!
