We had a fantastic day out seeing the Orang Utans and the Cave temple in Perak. Our driver and guide Rajan was excellent, very informative on the drive in and out, recommended food to try and knew a lot about the Orangs at the reserve. We were lucky enough to go when there were several young orangs, we got some great pictures. Don’t miss the steps up to the top of the temple, hot work but well worth it. A thoroughly enjoyable day and we would recommend to everyone.
Loved it! It’s a long 4hr drive from KL but worth the trip. The Orangutan’s were amazing to visit and the tour guide there was very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals in their care. As a sanctuary they take their care very seriously. *best part of the trip. After that we had a lunch at the resort. The food was ok but nothing special. The prices were reasonable. Next we went to temple. Some of the stairs were closed so there wasn’t access to all of the levels. Helmi, our driver was personable and even drove us to the airport a few days later when it was time to fly home.
Amazing experience. Our driver Rajan was wonderful. Friendly and informative! Able to give great suggestions and connect us to all the right people. Totally recommend!
A very nice trip. You get to see orangutans up close. Our driver Rajan was amazing and very knowledgeable, he was very informative during the whole trip.
We had the best day! Orangutan island was a brilliant experience, the guide was wonderful, it was so nice to see the great work they are doing to rehabilitate and then release these wonderful orangutans. Our guide for the day was Albinhar he was so helpful and professional. We would recommend this day trip 😊
Dreadful driving throughout the trip. Tailgating at 140 kph is absurd and dangerous Still doing that speed in pouring rain must rate as suicidal Felt rushed throughout and I would question if the journey is worth the visit to the sanctuary. The knowledgeable ranger promised on the island hardly spoke at all and had to be asked questions before giving dubious answers. His overall knowledge seemed poor The trip to the cave gave insufficient time to really explore the whole temple having been told we must return in an hour but being urged to return quicker. We took our time and returned after an hour where upon the driver disappeared and left us hanging around for a further 30 minutes Think carefully before booking this trip it is not worth the money and if they all drive like our guide then someone will end up dead

Interesting experience. The rescue centre is based on an island and the management of the transition from mainland to island was smooth and troubled free. The Island had several Orangutang that could viewed and they looked well cared for and healthy. Overall a worthwhile experience
Great day trip. Our Tour Guide/Driver was fabulous. Great interaction between us and him. Trip was spectacular. A real fun day out.
Not satisfactory. Driver spoke limited English, and offered no insights whatsoever. Fortunately, the woman at the Orangutan facility was excellent. Car was a smallish Toyota that we sat in the cramped backseat of for a long time. The first time that I can remember where a bottle of water was not provided.

The tour guide was amazing! He was super helpful and made sure I was comfortable. The orangutan park was great, I loved the temple afterwards too. You can climb to the top but it’s 450 steps up, the views are well worth the climb
