Itinéraire
La visite commence depuis le centre portuaire de Katakolo. Vous louez la drôle de voiture en plein air BeachBuggy® qui est équipée d'une stéréo FM et également d'un système audio Bluetooth dont vous pouvez entendre votre musique préférée à partir de votre téléphone ou Youtube pendant votre conduite Côte de la péninsule de Katakolon! Vous avez la possibilité de suivre la voiture BeachBuggy® de notre guide lorsque nous continuons à conduire Coastline pendant 10min jusqu'à notre premier arrêt. Nous passons un chemin naturel et agréable avec beaucoup de photos gravées dans votre esprit!
Premier arrêt est le point culminant du village d'Agios Andreas, ville de l'ancienne Elis dans les Pisatis, situé sur l'isthme reliant le promontoire Ichthys (aujourd'hui le cap de Katakolo) avec le continent. Nous nous arrêtons 30 minutes, pour un café (en supplément), respiration/marche/photoshooting ou Baignade.
Deuxième étape, le village Leventochori, une superbe destination balnéaire où les collines verdoyantes de la terre Elian rencontrent la mer, créant une série de criques pittoresques ornées de sable sombre! Nous nous arrêtons 30 minutes, pour un café (en supplément), respiration/marche/photoshooting ou Baignade
Le monastère de Panagia Skafidiotissa ou Skafidia, d'où il tire son nom, a été construit vers le 10ème siècle. À côté des eaux bleues claires du lonian, à l'embouchure de la rivière Lardanes. Le visiteur sera ébloui en voyant de loin la forteresse médiévale qui l'entoure. En plus de son architecture remarquable, elle possède également de nombreux trésors religieux et historiques tels que : Des vases saints, des vêtements, des reliquaires, des uniformes, des armes, des icônes, des pièces de monnaie, des votives et la bannière du monastère faite d'une icône brodée à la main dédiée à Theotokos. On s'arrête 30 minutes.
Prochaine étape est le petit village Skafidia, le site de l'ancienne ville de Dyspontium, l'une des huit villes de Pisatis dans l'ancienne Elis. Il était situé dans la plaine entre Elis et Olympie, au nord du fleuve Alphée et non loin de la mer. Nous nous arrêtons 30 minutes, pour un café (en supplément), respiration/marche/photoshooting ou Baignade.
Prochaine étape, la plage de Kourouta, la plus cosmopolite et la plus sous pavillon bleu d'Ilia que les sables s'étendent sur plus de 16 km, lavée par les eaux cristallines de la mer Ionienne, située à seulement 21 km (13 miles) du port de Katakolon. Outre le sable doré et l'eau d'un bleu profond de la plage de Kourouta, le long du front de mer se trouvent d'innombrables cafés-bars, restaurants, tavernes grecques servant de l'ouzo, du poisson frais et des plats traditionnels. Nous nous arrêtons pendant 60minutes pour Nager et nous détendre dans les transats où vous pouvez être servi des boissons, du café ou de la nourriture en profitant de la vue sur la mer!

Amazing activity- we loved it.. loved the car- very easy to drive and looked great. The cars are very modern and we got to play our own tunes while cruising all over the town. No issues getting in or out of the car. George was fantastic- took us to all the good spots, gave us water and snacks and even took great photos and videos for keepsakes. George was really friendly, helpful and nothing too much to ask. We hope George and his business do well
Fantastic trip with George and his beach buggies, nothing was too much trouble very help and knowledgeable. The buggies were in amazing condition, well maintained. We really enjoyed the trip from start to finish, if you are in this area book this trip you won't be disappointed!!
George is absolutely AMAZING! The buggy location is only about a 5-minute walk from the cruise port, which made everything incredibly convenient. George has three buggies available for each tour, and the entire experience was perfect from beginning to end. We visited three spectacular beaches, each beautiful in its own way. At the third beach, my husband and I had what was genuinely some of the best pasta we have ever had in our lives! The scenery, the food, and the entire experience were unforgettable. What really stood out to us, though, was George himself. We originally had a 12:30 PM reservation, but George was thoughtful enough to reach out and recommend that we move our tour to 9:30 AM so we wouldn’t have to worry about getting back to our cruise ship on time. Because of his recommendation, we were able to fully enjoy the tour, return with plenty of time to spare, and still have time to shop around before getting back on the ship. As a Black couple traveling in a foreign country, feeling safe and comfortable is extremely important to us, and George made us feel completely SAFE, welcomed, and taken care of the entire time. He is incredibly genuine, kind, and truly God-sent. Please do not skip this experience. BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY! You will not regret it. Thank you, George, for giving us such an amazing memory from our trip! ❤️

We had a great time!! Lots of fun. George led us all around to see the local villages and beaches. Our kids went into the water at all three beaches. Just the right mix of site seeing and relaxing. The buggies were new and fun to drive. George was flexible and allowed us to stay at one beach a little longer. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely, the best time! Discover Beaches, The Quaint Countryside , Rural & Farming Villages all while having fresh air and the time of your life! Office with the buggies was easy to find and only a short walk from the cruise port. Kouroutas Beach was a lovely spot. Clear water with a sandy bottom. Got loungers and ordered food. Great day!
We had an amazing, unforgettable time riding the classy, shiny buggies!! So well-taken care of, and the drive was very easy and Fun! It was a very hot summer day, but the open-air drive to the beaches were the best way to spend with younger kids/family, visiting beautiful beaches - and the final dip was so refreshing and relaxing! We loved it so much, even our grumpy teenagers and our 10 year old enjoyed it and couldn’t stop talking about the unique memories we made. Starvos has also been so accommodating even after I made a mess with canceling and rebooking and going through much trouble with the charges. We’re so glad we got to do this experience together as a family in Katakolo!! You and your family will really love it too!
It will be so great and fun. Wear swim suits alot of beaches. Don’t worry if it’s a rainy day George will still make it a special experience.
Great experience in Katakalon. We had a rainy morning but didn't prevent us to have fun. George was great guide and very attentive and we had fun along the way. Beaches were nice and water Great. Buggies are great quality and they are quite new well take care of. If you are group friends or family this would be a great day out for you.
One beach buggy tour was AMAZING! First of all, the beach buggy vehicles themselves turn heads as we drove through the streets of Katakolon, playing our fave 80's tunes on the Bluetooth radio. Our guide George took us to various beaches and spots that were heaven on Earth, where we were able to take pictures that we treasure now that were back home. George stopped at a wonderful restaurant where we sipped on Ouzo and local Greek beer along with a stop at a beach club for a few hours where we took a dip in the Agean Sea and soaked up some sun. Driving along the back roads with all of the breathtakingly gorgeous views is something we will never forget! We highly recommend booking the Beach Buggy experience! Trust us, you will not be disappointed and will go home with memories of a lifetime. Thanks again, George!!
