The guide was trying his best with English but had a bit of difficulty. Maybe because he was young? Lack of experience?
We were disappointed with the lighting of the buildings as compared to Viator’s pictures with only 2 stops, there was little opportunity to take pictures of attractions not at these stops eg fountains & the triumphal arch. The guide’s knowledge was good and his approach was friendly. The guide was also very prompt with the pickup time.

My daughter and I enjoyed a great two-hour tour of the most famous and historic places in Bucharest with the Trip Maker Tour Company. Our tour guide Riga had a great knowledge of the past and the more recent history of his homeland, particularly the events surrounding the fall of communism in the late 1980s which he lived through (ask him to repeat the 'banana' story and the story of the execution of the dictator on Christmas day!). His great sense of humour and quick wit made the tour all the more enjoyable. I can highly recommend this night tour which we did on our first night in the city, and which gave us a far greater sense of place and historical context as we got up to other adventures in the days that followed.
