Découvrez la statue du premier roi de Roumanie, Carol Ier, l'ancien palais royal et l'impressionnante bibliothèque universitaire et découvrez l'incroyable histoire de la monarchie dans ce pays.
Sur l’imposante place de la Révolution, vous comprendrez la dure oppression du communisme et le contrôle exercé par le régime totalitaire sur la vie des habitants. Des histoires d'évolution et de réalisations incroyables, mais aussi de faim et de rations alimentaires seront racontées, surmontées d'images de cette époque, pour un effet plus dramatique. Ici, vous entendrez également l'histoire de la révolution sanglante de décembre 1989 et de la chute finale du dictateur Nicolae Ceaușescu, témoin de la naissance de la Roumanie démocratique.
Ensuite, nous marcherons sur l'avenue où les rois se promenaient quotidiennement - la romantique Calea Victoriei. De superbes structures Belle Epoque comme le Palais CEC, le Grand Hôtel du Boulevard ou la Bibliothèque Universitaire peuvent être admirées.
Au début de la visite, nous marcherons dans la vieille ville de Bucarest, sur les pas du personnage le plus horrible de l'histoire - Vlad Dracula et découvrirons sa forteresse oubliée. Dans le caravansérail voisin, Manuc's Inn, une ancienne colonie commerciale impressionnante, découvrez comment Bucarest a évolué à la fusion de deux mondes différents : l'Est et l'Ouest. Plus tard, nous vous amènerons à trouver un mélange éclectique de bâtiments comme la Banque nationale de Roumanie, le monastère Stavropoleos et le passage de Villacrosse et vous serez sûrement charmé par l'atmosphère animée de ce quartier.

The tour was very interesting and informative! We visited many beautiful places and included detailed information about them. The tour guide Stefania conducted the tour at a very pleasant pace, with many interesting facts and in a relaxed atmosphere. We felt very comfortable, and she was able to answer all our questions. I can only recommend the tour. Especially at the beginning of a stay in Bucharest, it is very sensible because you visit many beautiful places and receive all the information you need. Stefan did a great job of introducing us to Bucharest. Alongside the references to important historical figures and places Stefan also discussed the impact personalities and politics had on the everyday life of ordinary citizens. This was a great waking your , gaining an insight into Bucharest and its history from communism to its present day. Laura was a great guide and was very helpful. This is a must on your first day in Bucharest as you’ll get lots of info to explore the other days with some great local tips. The your was about teo and half hours and there is no real payment but you pay what you think it’s worth.

Very detailed and informative tour through a part of Bucharest.
For anyone who doesn’t know the history of Bucharest during World War II and before this is the most informative and educational experience I’ve had. Our guide Laura is extremely knowledgeable the history and included great details that we do not see in history books. It’s a great opportunity that should not be missed!
