Votre guide expérimenté assurera votre confort pendant qu'il vous conduira à travers le Mercado La Cruz animé où vous dégusterez le plus délicieux petit-déjeuner du marché, notamment des gorditas, des tacos et des fruits frais locaux. Notre visite se poursuivra au-delà de La Cruz en explorant l'histoire autour de la Plaza de Armas et de la Plaza Zenea où nous terminerons la visite avec un avant-goût d'Oaxaca ! Vous rencontrerez nos vendeurs bien-aimés et découvrirez pourquoi nous les adorons, ainsi que leur nourriture ! Notre promenade dans Centro commence à ce stade, alors venez avec des chaussures confortables et l'estomac vide.
Vent et manger à votre guise à travers les étals animés du marché le plus célèbre de Centro, Mercado La Cruz. Profitez des images, des sons et des odeurs du cœur du monde culinaire du centre-ville. De nombreux ingrédients utilisés dans la cuisine de cette tournée proviennent de ce marché. Assurez-vous d'avoir vos appareils photo prêts car les séances de photos sont nombreuses!
Nous explorerons la belle architecture des bâtiments de cette place et découvrirons comment la naissance de la lutte pour l'indépendance du Mexique a commencé ici. I have been through a number of markets but never had the nerve to try any food. With Edgar at my side I became a little more brave and enjoyed the experience.

I had a fantastic time on my solo tour in the Centro! The experience was both informative and enjoyable, offering a unique perspective from a local's point of view. While visiting the city alone, I really appreciated having a friendly tour guide to show me around and introduce me to the area. I learned so much about the history of Querétaro and the delicious food I got to try. Fantastic tour of the local food scene! Edgar was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humour. We loved the insider tour of the Mercado, and it was delightful to stroll around Queretaro’s streets in between locations. Highly recommend for a window into Queretaro’s food traditions.

Guide David) was wonderful. His knowledge of local history added much to the tour in general.
Of the 8 days we spent in Querétaro, the half day we spent with David was the absolute best. Start your trip right and begin with this tour. David went above and beyond taking us to many (6 or more?) restaurants where we learned historical facts that added to the cultural depth of our experience. Then there was the food. One restaurant served mole chicken tamales that as I write this still make my mouth water and that was 3 weeks ago! They also serve roasted grasshoppers which my husband is still talking about, but I, ahem, avoided. There were so many rich, historic stops along our walk (which was very mild, by the way) I cannot remember them all. What stands out to me as the most glorious of our whole trip was El Mercado "La Cruz" where we squeezed into a narrow ledge amongst fresh flowers and mountains of mangos (the air smells of nectar), to eat the ABSOLUTE BEST TACOS IN THE WORLD. Okay. I exaggerate, but test me. Try Chamorro Tacos (beef shank) and then ladle on some pico and lime. Perfection. DAVID Herrera speaks great English. Our Spanish is passible but atrocious.
