Anything with Gray Line Argentina is a scam. This is the third trip they canceled on me, just the night before it was supposed to take place. I was in Iguazu Falls area for a short period of time and they simply left me stranded, three times. I had to find very expensive alternatives to these canceled trips. Save your money and time people. Don't fooled by low prices by Gray Line Argentina. Now you've been warrened.
Worth the visit! Shopping Tio Juan markets, market and Adega ODA! On the way back, stop at Shopping Puerto Iguassu! To pay with pix it's really worth it. The dollar exchange rate was 2.68 on the day of the visit. We did this twice. It was the best place for shopping. Free parking!
Great variety of music performed by three men, wonderful musicians, mostly vocal. Small theater, good entertainment.
Avoid this company!!!! I paid for a full day sightseeing of Iguassu Falls AND the Itaipu Dam. I was very clear about needing an English-speaking guide. I ended up on a bus on which I was the only English speaker. I tried to tell the guide who responded, "Everybody speaks Spanish so I will speak Spanish". Eventually, I was moved to another bus of English-speaking tourists and and English-speaking guide. I asked the guide about the trip to the Dam. He said there was no scheduled trip to the Dam for that day. I showed him my confirmation. He made a call and told me there was no trip to the Dam. If I had booked just the half day four to the falls, it would have been much cheaper. Now I am arguing with Viator about getting a refund for that portion of my trip. Save yourself the aggravation. Don't use this company.
It is essential to make this visit to know the magnificence of the engineering work and the use of water resources.

Everything went well until after lunch when we were first asked to shift to another guide with a smaller van, but then just after about 15 minutes we were transferred like goods to a third guide with a even smaller van WITHOUT air-con and the driver who also served as a guide but DID NOT SPEAK a single English word! This was totally a nightmare!

TOUR OPERATOR COMMENT: Thank you very much for your comments!

The reason you had to change the vehicles, is due to this tour consist of 3 different activities.
- Brazilian Side of Falls
- Itapu Dam
- internal excursion at Itapu Dam

We have heard your suggestions and at this moment have solved issues with air conditioners within our vehicles.

Best regards,
Gray Line Team

Despite no correspondence prior to pick up time in morning had to callViator and emergency no, night before plus a 20 minute late pickup in morning, the trip to the Brazil side of the Falls was worth every . The Dam add on too as we were only ones on that excursion with the group and they gave us our own Taxi driver to take care of us for this part. We didnt get back to accommodation until 6.30 pm but driver handled everything. Great value for money.

Went to Iguazu falls but no Dam visit ,guide said closed,he did not seem to know why, only that it was closed.

This tour wasn't really a tour as such and I'm sure you could spend your money better on a driver or a local bus to take you to the falls. We were the only English speaking tourists and felt as though we missed out on facts and things you would expect in a tour. Don't bother with the dam either.

The falls from this side are exciting. Remember to dress well because you will get wet. The Itaipu dam is very interesting and inpressive mainly for technical people. Other people will find it a bit boring.
