Ce voyage pédestre se déroule à travers deux chapitres déterminants : l’ère coloniale, marquée par les dures réalités de l’esclavage et de puissants actes de résistance, et les migrations antillaises – une période de travail, de résilience et d’héritage culturel qui a contribué à façonner l’identité du Panama. • Notre promenade commence à Casco Antiguo, dépassant les anciens murs qui séparaient autrefois l'élite de la communauté ouvrière de Santa Ana. • Nous continuons le long de Central Avenue, un quartier animé rempli d'histoires et de vie locale. • Ensuite, nous visitons le musée afro-antillais pour explorer la vie et les contributions des migrants antillais qui ont contribué à construire la nation. Cette ancienne petite chapelle, aujourd'hui transformée en musée, a tant d'histoire. Il présente également une magnifique peinture murale extérieure qui raconte la vie et le travail des Antillais dans l'isthme de Panama.
