Frida Kahlo only accepts downloaded QR code and the wi fi was awful took 15 mins to get it figured out. Staff was only so helpful and it is a long way to go to not be able to get in. We finally got help from a woman in line
It’s awful to feel cheated. Nobody likes it. I was sold an overpriced ticket that claimed ‘no queues’, but when I arrived at the museum – which is lovely – I had to join the normal queue and wait… Companies that use lies to sell their products should go out of business. I don’t recommend it!
The museum is so interesting! I highly recommend it. The tickets sell out fast so get them early. Also I needed tickets in advance. It was difficult to buy them from Frida Khloe website so I was so happy to find them.
I purchased two tickets for a free to call a museum, and in addition to the very confusing ticketing system, (the museum does not accept the Viator ticket), the Viator group sent me 2 of the same tickets so only one of us could go in. (They also sent the wrong time so we waited an extra hour). I messaged and called the Viator numerous times with not a single response. Our #1 reason for coming to Coyoacán was the Frida museum and only 1 of us got to view it. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I’ve asked for a full refund. No response.
There is a long line. They let you in according to your ticket time. The museum is interesting but quite small. Plan the rest of your day accordingly.
It was less than we expected and not worth the price, IMO. Some of it was interesting, but I never got a feeling for how she lived.
Wonderful experience and easy to follow instructions. My daughter and I really enjoyed it! You do need WhatsApp for your tickets.
It all worked great from Viator's side. A time slot change will be made by Viator. And luggage storage is then offered. Which we found very helpful. Thank you so much!
I got a message saying they couldn’t accommodate my original time which was 2pm but the booking was never updated the reflect the new time. It always said 2pm. They also sent me an email yesterday saying your tickets are ready and the time in the app said 2pm. When I click, go to my tickets, it brought my to the voucher. I had nothing else. I traveled alone today, took an hour to get to Frida museum and I was turned away by the man at the door because I had a voucher, not a ticket. I called the number and there was no answer. I called Viator and they also tried to call who was supposed to send me a ticket and they could not get anyone. They did refund me but it was an entire waste of an afternoon of my time in Mexico City. There is no way to re-pay this. I am devastated.
Although I had planned the visit months before, we did not manage to get to the Frida Kahlo Museum with Viator. I was very disappointed!
